I love the PS2 type of graphics. This brought me back to the Tomb Raider vibe. Well done!

All the mechanics are well executed and the fact you can build momentum is always great as a feature! I don't know if you are familiar with the game Team Fortress 2, but the level design reminded me some rocketjump maps. I love that you exploit the mechanics and all the combinations of them. Sprint & grapple or sprint & boost are so satisfying.

This game definitely has potential, keep working on that! Great job!

I'm glad you liked it!
I played a ton of TF2! I never played any platforming maps in it, but I did play a ton of surf maps in Counter-Strike 1.6 and concmaps in TFC.

Nice!! I think that the surfing system of cs and tf2 is pretty much the same. You should try a map for soldier or demo some time. It's definitely more skill-based but it's fun!

Fun! Reminded me a lot of Ultra Kill

That was a fun game! Having made a grappling hook before, I know it isn't easy, but it was pretty well done here. I did have it get stuck once when I managed to connect to a point that was behind a wall, but since the respawn points are frequent it wasn't an issue to just reset. All in all a good game. Nice work!

Really neat. Pretty solid controls. Cool grapple. NIce jump ....the sprint "power up", however, was NOT enjoyable.

Nice vertical slice of a 3d platformer! Respawning right where you died made it less frustrating and let you really trial and error until you got through the obstacle. The controls felt great; the dash jump and grapple were solid. I would've liked a y-invert option (first thing I change when I play an FPS). Overall nice work! :)

The platforming was very fun! Combining abilities to perform specific movements was satisfying to get right.

I really liked this submission, probably one of my favourites so far. The approach of being able to switch out your abilities in a more controlled setup was really nice - and I loved the little mutation graphic to help show which movesets you have so far (and the running sound effect is so good!).

I'm currently stuck at a grapple / jumping puzzle near the end of the level I think - but I'm going to come back to it again later on!

Great work, this really gave me some inspiration for some prototype ideas, really well executed!

the controls felt pretty good, I got lost on where to go after getting outside with the grapple power.

Developer(+1)

After the first time you go outside? Once you complete that short outside section and end up back inside, there will be a grapple point on your left.

Pretty solid platforming mechanics, I especially liked the combinations of different abilities leading to different challenges. Level design is a bit barebones, but the overall visual style is pretty nifty. Being locked into your velocity after going into midair (short of abilities) felt about the right amount of challenging, and the grapple implementation is something that I haven't seen done that way very much, but it does work quite well here.

This was really fun! Really liked the blending of different abilities. And love the look as well. Nice work!
