Hey guys! We are officially past the two-day mark, and things are getting real. I was just reviewing my schedule, and following the best practices of seasoned jam veterans, I’ve decided to play it safe: I reserved one full day for publishing/building and another dedicated entirely to bugfixing. This leaves us with about three days for actual development. Right now, it feels like I’m on track, but to be honest, I’m not 100% sure yet. Scope creep is a sneaky beast! How is your progress coming along? Are you sticking to your initial plan, or has the cutting-features phase already begun? Let’s support each other.

I am a godot beginner. Put many hours into my platformer but spent ages debugging movement, designing the player sprite and combat, to the point where I haven't even been able to design levels, nor bosses, nor enemies. I don't think I'll finish.

Don't give up, mate! I spent a whole day just rewriting the terrain five times because I had zero skills in level design, and my mental HP dropped below zero. Just push through and submit whatever you have, even a small build is a huge win for your first time! You got this! 🌿💪

Classic gamedev experience right there! I spent almost two sleepless nights fighting a nasty boss bug that completely broke my saves, and ended up rewriting the whole system from scratch. Congrats on pushing through, sounds like a great start for your first jam!

I feel kinda dizzy but my game is progressing well. Basic movements are there, levels stuffs are there and enemies and reward are in also. I think it's 50% done. Title is not decided yet.

Having half the mechanics and art is already a huge win! For the audio, don't sweat it too much - I literally rushed and composed my entire soundtrack in about 2-3 hours on the final days. You still have time to pull it off! Good luck! 🕹️🎶

bro my game is actually cooked it barely matches the theme, somewhat riddled with bugs, and the art style, well the art style is fine.

Don't worry bro, that's just the post-jam anxiety talking! If the art style is fine, people will definitely give it a chance. Bugs can be funny, and "barely matching the theme" is basically a feature at this point lol. Drop me the link, I'll check it out!
