cool little game :)
I couldn't get past the red button, but overall I enjoyed it, it's a fun game.
Epic game mechanic, really difficult trying to keep spinning and winning. Great Job!
Great game, very difficult! It felt like sometimes I was dying while spinning, but I think it's that my top was still moving but not spinning which was a little confusing. The top looks great and the obstacles were interesting to avoid, once you start getting the hang of it movement feels pretty good. Great job!
This is a great concept! I love the visuals of the spinning top. It's quite hard to show something spinning from the top but you achieved this really well. I did find that I was losing my cursor position a lot. It would be nice to have a larger custom cursor to help with that. Really cool idea <3
This is a very charming game. I enjoy the vibe of the text instructions.
This puzzle game is challenging and at times stressful.
I enjoyed every second of it.
the messages from the mysterious character provided the motivation to power through the gauntlet of creative traps and enemies around every corner. the controls, animations, and art are polished and sharp. however the learning curve is steep. the game got easier for me when i learned how to switch between short mouse flicks and long mouse drags without losing control and running into a wall. it would feel less unforgiving if the walls didn't knock off so much momentum so fast. after all, you are a spinning top, so bouncing around a few times, giving you the chance to recover before stopping would be fun and logical. it's a tough but fair game that asks the player to learn the mechanics to their fullest potential to reach the goal.
SPOILER below:
it felt wrong not being able to escape the lab after such an epic boss and so many restarts lol
Cool game! The spinning animation is really cool and the rest is simple but charming :)
I would've liked to read all the text, but that means having to slow down and die. Box position doesn't reset on death, which is sometimes helpful and other times annyoing.
Great job! :D
Super creative take on the theme, felt like one of those classic flash puzzle games reimagined!! Really enjoyed all the comments along the sides of the levels, added a lot of character to the game!
Unfortunately my hand started cramping up after making it to the room with the 4 moving boxes :( but I still had a great time overall! Nice work!
Sorry for your hand, but thanks for the feedback!
I like the animation of the spinning top. For someone with astigmatism the floor texture was not so pleasant when the spinning top was moving. I would also appreciate more checkpoints as it was too hard. I really liked the texts on the side, that's how a tutorial/worldbuilding should be, on the side while you're playing the game.
One of my playtesyers mentioned this problem, so i made the squares bigger. I guess that wasnt enough, sorry. If i had mpre time i would have maybe made a mode where its just a flat color.
