Ended up owing them half a million dollars, just my luck...

I don't know how you managed to make the game so polished in just a week, I had a very fun time playing it :)

I really like the art and dialogue, and the audio is also nice. At first I thought it was fully RNG-based (I got - 50000 on my first run lol), but there's actually quite some strategy behind it! Very fun game, really enjoyed playing it after I got the hang of it :D
Also, love the sea slug logo, it's very cute :>

Developer(+1)

YOOOO thank you so muchhh, -50k is crazy but glad we're glad you were able to get the hang of it! Sir Pixelated wanted the logo to be a sea slug so thank him for that lol:3

Such a similar idea, yet executed completely differently.

Developer

Awesome! Same idea different execution that's the point of jamming

Submitted(+1)

Great game! Looks like we came up with a similar concept!

I really enjoyed the game. Unlike in other gambling-adjacent games in this jam, this game actually made me feel like I was in control.

I lost my first go, because I was still adapting to the mechanics, but won on my second go!

Good game!

Developer(+1)

Yaaaay! Once I heard "Great minds think alike" We're glad you like it, some of us think it's a games based on chance, good to know you felt in control!

Submitted(+1)

Great art, great audio design, and great use of the theme! I feel like the gameplay might've been a bit off, but everything else was absolutely stunning. Congrats! :)

Developer(+1)

A lot of work was put into developing this game and making the world come to life so we are glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for playing and the feedback ^-^

Very good I could see this becoming a real commercial game! Loved the artstyle the main menu being a tv was so creative and awesome! I made a little over 4million. Nice job :D

Developer

CONGRATS ON THE 4 MILL!!! We wanted the world to be as interactive and immersive as possible so we are glad the TV UI was well received!

Truly from all of us, thank you so much for playing <3

Really cool game and I believe it achives the idea of the Jam flawlessly. I would like to see this turned into a real game, I see lots of opportunity to strategize and build on top of the formula y'all already developed.
Very nice game.

Developer(+1)

AA thank you thank you!!! We are so glad we could capture some idea of the jam! It was a fun time creating this and we hope to expand further with our ideas in the future~

Submitted(+1)

Wow that was an incredible game it felt like actually watching a game show! I love the entire UI with the TV and how it's all interactable. The actual gameplay is also really fun and it gets addicting just spinning that wheel. Great work on the visuals and the overall polish also!

Developer

Thank you so much! We're glad you were able to experience what we intended for the gameshow and greatly appreciate it <3

LOVED the art style! Sound design is phenomenal as well, the dialog is also very funny. Overall I loved the entire vibe and think your team did an amazing job!

Developer(+1)

it was a hard week of development however we are glad you found it amazing! Thanks for playing!

Submitted(+1)

A great idea with a superb execution. The visuals are beautiful and combined with the sound effects, it genuinely felt like sitting in front of a real game show. Excellent work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! We are soo glad you liked it!

I was supposed to walk away with $11,006,250 but only got $1,000,000 just like the host said he would only give... but my missing 10 million!? LOL I got an insane multiplier of 81x plus a couple 2.5x, it felt so good! Very much enjoyed all the humor put into it and the amazing feeling of experiencing a gameshow. My only suggestion is allowing the player to spin the wheel vs. it spinning automatically when it's time. Visuals and SFX were spot on. Excellent teamwork!

Developer

I'm so happy you enjoyed the game so much! And congrats on your 11 mil lmao!

I'll keep the auto spin feature in mind for if we ever decide to make another game like this, thank you for the feedback!

The effort you put into the art and overall vibe of the gameshow is insane. I loved the audience reactions a lot.

As mentioned below the text was a bit hard to read but overall its a very polished game!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Sum's art and gabone_audio's sound and music really made the vibe feel insane!

I made my older brother play this game and he said the text was hard to read too haha 😅

i feel so immersed in this! it's a really good game! theres not many games that feel like you're actually in the moment and this is one of them! i had a lot of fun trying to manipulate the wheel to my liking, i wish the host was more of a character but i do like the dialogue either way, its very creative. the wedges are really fun. overall a really solid and good game.

the only criticisms i have is that the text can also be kind of hard to see at times.

Developer(+1)

I'm glad you enjoyed the game! I've learned that making a game with good presentation is but as important as good gameplay so I've been trying my best to get better in that department, so I'm glad I teamed up with sum and gabone_audio, they I think they nailed it!

As for the text, yeah it seems like other people are having the same issue, nobody pointed that out during development so it went unchanged since I first made the UI for it unfortunately.

you and your team did a very good job! i hope to see more from y'all in the future.

Very unique visuals, really does feel like one of those old TV's (that I'm too young to have ever used to be fair). Spinning and hitting the 50k with a big multiplier feels sooooo good. Great game!

Developer

Ha ha, yeah none of us ever experienced the 70s but I think we did decently!

I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

ayo polish in da house???? this looks so cool great work guiys <3

I don't know how you managed to make me feel the same rage as the Stardew Valley Fair wheel due to my bad luck, but you managed it, haha. I have to agree with sowalo, this did feel incredibly polished and complete for the short time span we had. Well done!

Developer

Turns out making a roulette without it turning into a rage game is rather hard 😅

There are some bugs and typos in there but yeah we put a lot of effort into this one!

Beautiful art direction. I loved seeing the concept art.

Developer

Yeah sum did a great job with it!

Wow, amazingly polished for a 7 day game! The old-school game show aesthetic with the CRT works really nicely, and I love the attention to detail throughout the game. The way you tied the game mechanics' explanations into the dialogue is excellent. It's difficult to create something actually fun to play in such a short time, but you pulled it off. Impressive work!

Developer

Thank you so much! I worked the hardest in this game than any other game jam games I've made so I'm glad you enjoyed it.
