Fun game! Played on stream! Crashed partway through and dont know why also found a few unintended solutions. Good game!
thanks!

Thanks SO SO MCUH for your patience, and CONGRATS on finishing a really smart game. I've NEVER played something like that with clockwork mechanics and physics! Really cool stuff, stoked to see where you go from here!!
Nice job with how you incorporated the theme! I like the idea you chose, and with a little bit of polish this would be awesome!
yeah, I've been working on upgrading it recently, hopefully the finished product is extremely polished
The mechanics are extremely creative, the game itself is difficult, I enjoyed the levels—congratulations!
A really interesting idea that would need some polish imo to really shine. Overall I like the core physics and the fact that its bespoke to its own purpose, but requires cleaning up to really work well. I felt that the best experience came from intentionally or unintentionally being able to skip a lot of the level by hitting the end goal with weird movements, so perhaps that might be worth exploring?
I also like the utilitarian visuals and assets, fun!
You have a pretty cool concept here. I sadly didn't get to beating the game (I opted to stop at the level shown below), but here are my thoughts based on what I did play.
As others have mentioned the level design in this game is quite good. Levels ramp up in complexity quite nicely, and the new mechanics like the fireworks, toggleable platforms cracked platforms, and gravity switches work well with each other. I did seem to be able to skip a few segments with the fireworks and some good timing, but I don't think that's the end of the world; it's fun to have the occasional skip like that for the player to find and feel clever about.
Despite the good level design and neat mechanics though, I really struggled to click with this game, mainly on account of the controls and the bugs. The controls were a massive pain for me to come to grips with. Grabbing doesn't need to be a separate button from jump, and down isn't an intuitive choice if you are going to make a it a separate button. And if it is going to be down, why doesn't S also bind to it (given that W A and D work for jump, left, and right)? I also didn't find space or mouse-click to be the best for fireworks given that I had to use the arrow keys; Z, X, or C would have been a good extra button for that.
The fireworks also feel quite rough around the edges despite how interesting of a mechanic they are. They send the player flying way too fast, and there's very little leniency on the timing (some sort of buffer would've been super appreciated). Moreover, the angle they send you had doesn't seem to be the same every time, and I still haven't figured out the logic behind when it sends me upward, when it sends me downward, etc. Should you build on this game in the future, I suggest slowing down fireworks and have them shoot you in the same direction every time; straight forward, no shenanigans.
Also, there are a few bugs that I ran into a lot:
There's definitely a good game to be made here, and the levels and mechanics are conceptually very well designed. With a lot more polish and some fixes to the rough parts, this could be pretty solid.
thanks for letting me know! just letting you know, the fireworks go toward the mouse
Amazing game, fun to play, and fun to watch others play and struggle xD difficulty is easy to learn but hard to master, with new mechanics being introduced at the perfect timing
thanks! I might actually put that on the page if youre okay with that! it's the perfect description!
absolutely, i would be honored
Have the same comment of other, good idea, creative one, just one advice, the game should restart by itself.
I loved the game idea! Great use of the jam theme! I kind of struggled with the controls so maybe look into remapping or try a different approach but I had lots of fun playing! Congrats on the game!
thanks!
This idea is so fun! I love it. If you made this into a full game and maybe added better controls, instant respawn, and added cool new mechanics, I would want to download it. Have a great day and keep up the good work😃
thanks!
few bugs, and I think the controls could be explained better but overall good and unique game!
thanks!
Really cool mechanics!
thanks!
took me a few sec to figure out but i was unstoppable afterwards. Nice game
thanks!
I recommend checking out the speedrun stuff! https://discord.gg/rfS5V7aV
here's the speedrun discord link: https://discord.gg/swC4erZe
If anyone gives video proof of beating my speedrun, (5 min 59 secs)
I will repetitively post about your game in discord
Love it. 👍
It was a bit confusing at first but after it clicked for me I had a lot of fun!! Great job!!
Extremly unique mechanic, a few bugs but it has huge potential! cant wait to see more from this dev :)
thanks! so glad you enjoyed!
Amazing level design! Difficulty and challenges felt very creative and engaging!
