Fun little game. I struggled to learn what I was supposed to avoid as it didn't give any feedback when I hit and object.
Cool game, but I was admittedly confused a lot of the time by what was I supposed to avoid or not. Eventually I started to figure things out, but I still think that, although I find the pixel art to be lovely, everything had the tendency to clutter a bit. In any case, I had an enjoyable time and the loop works pretty well. I could see myself playing this on my phone.
I like the idea you ran with here - definitely one of the more unique takes on the spin to win theme! The core gameplay loop seems well established, but there are a few issues I'd like to point out:
Don't feel disheartened about the bad feedback though - this is a solid first submission! Keep at it!
Cool game! I do like small arcade-y games like these. Like the other comments have said, a border or something to distinguish hazards from background objects would go a long way.
fun! I did miss some responsive feedback, but fun! Great title btw
Some more visual feedback on what parts hurt me and what parts don't would be great! I never really knew what objects I needed to jump over. Well done though!
Thank you! We tried to darken the background sections to make them a bit more visually distinct, but definitely something more is needed. I wondered if a border of some kind would make it clearer!
Poor guy trapped in an endless cycle. I like the arcade vibe. I think there could be more feedback on obstacle hits cause I don't know what im hitting most of the time tbh
He really is suffering! Thank you for your feedback. Yeah, we were definitely thinking of ways to make it clear which are obstacles and which is the background decor, but we couldn't settle on something!
Cool idea! I liked the Pico-8 style art and audio. I think gameplay was a little lacking, but that's OK! I wish you luck while you continue development.
Thank you for your comment! Yeah, lots of plans for development yet! Thank you very much, really appreciate it!
