Such a great story and soundtrack! I also laughed at the visual gags and found myself smiling my entire playthrough. Well done!

Developer

Thanks very much for playing, glad u enjoyed the game

Enjoyed the game as a cinematic masterpiece but the minigames were slightly unintuitive. Honestly I started spinning the gun in the finale because I thought that was how you reloaded it. Took me a while of useless spinning to realise you wanted me to drop the gun. Also the alignment on the bullet reloading game felt quite precise and it was a shame for it to not show up in the finale as you reload your one bullet using the skills you learned in the earlier minigames.

Developer

Thankyou very much for playing, glad u liked the loading part, for the duel part, hmmmm yes, I should rework that part to make less confusion

nice demo :)

thankyou very much <3

Developer

thanks for playing <3

This has the best soundtrack of any game in the jam by far. It's amazing. Can I ask what libraries you were using? The game was fun too and the storytelling was really well done for the time you had. I did encounter a bug where I couldn't or didn't know how to proceed because I was missing a bullet.

Developer

thankyou very much for playing, i just used godot's built in engine features like rigid body 2d for physics and other stuff in fodot, hmmm yes ive heard about that bug before but idk how to replicate it my self so i dont really know how to fix that, well for now...., anyways, im glad u enjoyed the story, thanks <3

What a blockbuster! :D

I really liked the storytelling. Great job on that! Felt like a short movie^^

And i felt like i'm super drunk all the time :D

Good work :)

Developer(+1)

thankyou very much for playing, half of the game is a cutscene so its kinda an interactable movie lol

i didnt really make it clear in the beginning but the player got shot, that's why the hand is wobbly, not drunk <3

Submitted

yea, that the shaking was because of the injurie got told good i think. Maybe some visual could help there.

I think the drunk thing just was something my brain made out of it because it somehow fits for me for a funny setting ;D

Don't let the simple art full you! This game tells an interesting story.

thanks for playing, glad u liked the story <3

This was really fun to play - the mechanic of having to fight against yourself to aim and act and such was really cool, especially with how the art style is portrayed. Simple and direct - nothing too fancy - and it's very cinematic in spite of that. The music catches the vibe, but the repetition did feel a lil annoying - unless it just broke for me and kept repeating ad nauseum.

The gameplay was fun though, albeit simple, and it did what it wanted to do pretty well. The loading minigame was deceptively hard though, and as some others have said, the last gunfight was pretty awkward in terms of figuring out what to do.

This is the American Dream.

Developer(+1)

thankyou very much for playing, glad u like the game, hmmm yes its more of a one time played story game as there wont be much new if u play again, the loading mini game is the "super serious" part of the game and u need to focus to line up the bullets properly, for the final battle, hmmmmm yes i dont really know how to introduce the mechanic within the jam time so i just put instruction texts there and its kinda meant that u fail once or twice on that part, and again, thanks for playing <3

10/10 Parkinson simulator

epikk <3

Submitted(+1)

yo bro this is smh one of the better games out there XD i found the cutscenes hella funny and the game in general is pretty fun even with the simple art, it took me some attempts to finish off the boss since i didn't understand that i just need to drop the gun then try to shoot again, and the game def could've used a bit more polish but other than that it's def a really cool experience :)

Developer(+1)

howdy, thanks very much for playing, the cutscenes are made on the last day so i used more of a gag style just for fun and im glad u liked it <3

Submitted

i see but you managed to make it funny so that's cool lol

Submitted(+1)

This is the most cinematic serious game of all time lowk

very peak story and i enjoyed doing the stuff manually , the music is also good

the art is the only thing it needs to be better maybe , the battle was a bit confusing icl but i got it

rockstar got some work to do to be able to make rdr3 better than this

Developer(+1)

lmao thanks very much for playing, final battle is not explained very clearly but im glad u got it <3

Submitted(+1)

Surprisingly cinematic for something with visually "simpler" art. But like overall the game was super nice! the visual storytelling was really good, sound effects also fit well and music. Definitely catches the vibe well/ It was only the final battle that got a bit confusing with what to do and took like 5 tries but thats not too bad. Overall nice game!

Developer

yooo thankyou very much for playing, idk how to explain the  final battle more clearly but im glad u got it <3

Submitted(+1)

Nice work, the visuals captured the western theme perfectly, it wasn't quite Clint Eastwood levels of gunslinging, but not far off

Developer

thankyou very much for playing, wowiee, not far off from clint eastwood <3

Submitted (1 edit) (+1)

Lol, it's a group of mini games true to the theme, spinning the gun and fear and trauma while he tries to shoot. A short game, but it entertained me nonetheless

I think it's meant to be a gag game... I was laughing cause there was no animation and he stood on a horse LMAO XD.

Developer

Thankyou very much for playing, the gameplay was pretty serious  but the animation was a mix of serious and funny to cut time as I did all of them in the last 24 hour of the jam lol

Submitted(+1)

Hello ITSTIMOTHY999. Wow, what a wonderful game. I love the fact that the players hand shook so much, adds to the realism I think. The cutscenes were amazing too, I can see you put alot of effort into them. Short and sweet :D Also, I love the chicken

Developer(+1)

Yoooo spinny fort guy, thanks very much for playing <3

Submitted(+1)

I love the animation and art in this! I can feel that you put time into it, and it made me laugh. Thank you so much for letting me play!

Developer(+1)

thankyou very much for playing, glad you enjoyed it

hehe lot of time is used to make the game with passion and love :>

Fantastic narrative shooter, so much immersion from the shaky hands in all parts of the gameplay and I especially loved the cutscenes. My only gripe is that loading the revolver felt a bit too finnicky, but other than that, really good job!

Metagame cog 50/126

Developer(+1)

thankyou for playing, noted, i shall adjust the bullet loading part, the difficulty on that is a part of the seriousness where u have to focus and line u the bullet properly :>

Fun little narrative adventure! :D

Enjoyment: 4/5

The game follows a tiny narrative which is pretty interesting, while also adding small spin-related minigames into it which I found very charming! My only complaint is the final battle being a bit punishing if you don't immediately understand what to do (plus possibly being a bit RNG? im not sure whether the loaded shot is always in the same spot or if its randomized) but the checkpoint right before it somewhat makes up for it.

Creativity and Theme: 5/5

The theme has been followed very well with many interesting implementations of spinning!

Visuals: 3/5

I can see visuals are what's lacking the most in here, but that's alright! I appreciate the effort of building all the narrative cutscenes. The movements sometimes feel a bit janky, but you still managed to send the message you wanted very well with each sequence! All I can say is keep doing stuff like this and you'll improve a lot over time, making epic stuff!!

Audio: 3/5

My only complaint with the audio is the shooting sound being tremendously loud. I get that it might also be for realism, as the gun shooting movement is VERY accentuated and suggests that might've been what you were going for, but it catches players very off guard, potentially even being harmful! I'd suggest not going too overboard with sound volume next time, although I understand the vision.

Seriousness: 5/5

The gunslinger's needed redemption is, in fact, VERY serious.

FINAL RATING: 3.5/5

Pretty nice little game! It has a couple flaws but I know you can work around those going forward! Nice job! :)

Developer

thankyou for playing, first of all, wow what a beautiful feedback

for the final battle its kinda meant you gotta retry again because to add more complex mechanic there, the 1st and 2nd are guranted to be a blank, the rest is 50 50

thankyou verymuch for creativity and theme <3

for the player movement in the bar and going to reload his gun i didnt really give time to give him proper animation as i made that the 1st day of making the game and its barely 10% of the game so im kinda not willing to put much time into walking animation, and the part where i walk to the table to reload the gun, i forgot to import the new version, the shaky hand movement is a part of the story as the player got shot in the beginning, i didnt know to to show that he got shot on the hand but still good enough i belive

audio... mmmmmmmm, yes the sound is too big, especialy the shoot part

seriousness? hmmm very serious game indeed

agiain thanks very much for playing my game <3

Submitted(+1)

Very serious! I love the Western movie/game references. The sound that plays when you charge up your gun could be a little more satisfying, but I get it might be hard to find a sound that fits there. Reloading was also a little janky with the physics, but still it was really entertaining. The ending fight was really cool.

Developer

thankyou very much, if u missed it, in the begining the player got shot, i wanted to show that he got shot on the shoulder but i didnt have time to really specify that part, thats why the hand becomes shaky, hmmmm yes sound, i dont understand sound engeneering nor do i have a teammate for that sooo yeah, anyways, thanks again <3

Submitted(+1)

Funny game! Short and sweet, I enjoyed the physics, in fact I wanted it to be longer!

Developer

Howdy, thanks for playing, hmmmmm a fellow wildwest game, I'm planning on making more levels and story to it for the future 😁
