I use a similar input for my game and kind of drive a machine. In my case a submarine.

Funy game, but I cannot reach the level 8 😅

Developer

Thank you for your comment! I checked out your game and left a comment there. Very cool stuff!!

Interesting way to play the game. Also, a pretty bizarre way to put extra toppings on top of the pizza, but it fits the theme very well. I like the extra background sound too. Nice job!

Developer

Thanks for playing!! :D

very fun and interesting game! never saw this concept before. only problem is that these sound effect ALWAYS scare me. other than that, great game!

Developer (1 edit)

It's a bit scary on purpose :3c
Glad you enjoyed the game and thanks for your comment!

Very fun and interesting game.  I did have some trouble with middle mouse to drop faster as it would scroll the web page, but it wasn't too bad to deal with. Would also be mitigated if I downloaded the game. Really fun concept and the controls were very tight and intuitive, and the escalation of difficulty felt natural as well.

Developer

So glad you enjoyed! Thanks for your kind comment!
I figured that the middle button would cause problems when playing in the browser, so I made it so you can also scroll the wheel down to perform the same action. If that still scrolls your page, yes probably the best way to play is to download the game :D

Really enjoyed the feel of doing a Ratatouille-eque pizza making mechanic, then the ending reveal was perfection.

The reversal for the alternative ending is super clever too. Great work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing the whole game!
I wasn't thinking about Ratatouille, but now I can't unsee it hahaha

That was so cool !! The visual and atmosphere were great and the gameplay loop is very interesting

Maybe Spoilers : (but I'll stay vague) I really loved the moment were I "Won ?", then I realize what I had to do, what a plot twist, It's very smart that the gameplay also become reversed, I loved it !

Developer(+1)

You're probably the first person to get it (surely the first one to comment about it!)

Congrats for reaching the good ending, and thanks for appreciating the game! ^^

Nice concept! I would have never thought of seeing a game where you use levers to put toppings on pizza but here I am ahahah. My only critic is that the game is a bit slow, but still it was good. Also idk if it was intended but the person speaking sounds like the Trenitalia announcer and I thought it was very funny

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thanks for the kind comments! I'm glad you enjoyed the game ^^

You almost got it right, it's actually a recording of an Alitalia announcer.

P.S. Does the game feel slow even when you press the center mouse button (or scroll the wheel) to drop the salami faster?

Submitted(+1)

A bit, I used the mouse wheel whenever it was possible, but i guess it's subjective

Really  liked the idea! I had some trouble figuring out how the controls worked, once i understood it played way better, however i still feel like it should be a bit more responsive, sometimes the hand would move back or not move at all when doing the circular motion, maybe adding some more time on the later levels would help.
Cool game!

Developer

Thanks!! Great feedback, I'm definitely going to revise and correct the responsiveness after the voting period has ended.

Took me a few minutes to figure out the controls, maybe you just need a tiny readout that shows they are being read so the player can adjust that mouse movement accordingly, but when I got the hang of it....well....i made a really darn good pepperoni pizza! Great little title, SCI FI Pizza, love the visuals!!!

Developer

Thank you for your kind (and useful) comments! :D

I couldn't quite figure out how to get the controls to work, or make it full screen, but the art and sound was really freaking cool, also I was confused and intrigued by the concept but in a good way.

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the game even with the complications of the controls.

The game is now playable from the browser too, so it should be easier to start playing.

EDIT: I've added an annotation on the game page about the sensibility of the controls.

This is really fun! Love the creative way you interpreted the prompt. Reminds me of like a 2010s flash game I would have spent hours on instead of homework

Developer

Thanks for playing! ^^
