Cool game! I like the enemy types, if I had any feedback it'd be sometimes the last wave seemed impossible to finish (I'm glad I finished it in the end still) not sure if it's random spawns or not but it did seem like there were often 2 enemies from opposite sides coming and I could only dodge 1. Good stuff!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I'll have to think about how to balance the spawning of asteroids so that a player is never in an impossible situation. I believe it partly might be because the spawning radius is a rectangle right now to match the screen size. This along with the different asteroid types having different speeds probably makes it so theres a decent change two asteroids hit you from either sides at teh same time.
Really fun! I like the music and the art a lot! The whole thing is really nicely done, I hope you keep up the great work!
Fantastic simple little game! Love the music, pixel art, and of course just spinning around hitting away asteroids with a giant rocket powered ping pong paddle! Great job!
Simple, but it's fun to play.
I'm missing some sound when asteroids collide and some other visual effects to have a better feedback of the collisions of the asteroids with the paddle and other asteroids
This was really nice! A simple gameplay loop, but well-executed and a lot of good, silly fun. The graphics are nothing to write home about, but they don't have to be; and it was satisfying watching the asteroids go flying after you hit them (it felt very nice to line up a shot at a distance asteroid when that was possible). One critique is that I felt like wave 2 was much harder than 3 or 4, but maybe that's just me. I also think some sound effects would go a long way toward fleshing this out a bit more. But the core gameplay here is really fun; I had a good time playing it. Great job!
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I agree, after I submitted I facepalmed because I realized I totally forgot about sound effects. The point about wave 2 being more difficult than 3 or 4 is a great point too, I didn't consider that and it makes a lot of sense to swap those around. Glad you had a good time though!
Holy moly this game jam is making me realise just how trash I am at games, but jokes aside this was a such a fun game and reminds me that well even a simple idea can be super awesome if it is executed right. The second was hell tho those red ones are much more faster but I love the concept and was surprisingly addicting and I love how the asteroids destroy each other too so you can perform some cool deflects. I think this has potential to be a great cozy little game, maybe with more features you could release it on mobile! ( and also update it here since I would love to play it again )
I managed to beat the game with just 1 death! I really enjoyed seeing all the new asteroid types as the waves progressed. Some way to encourage hitting objects towards a certain direction could be really cool and add some more depth!
Overall this was a good time, nice work! And a giant rocket-powered ping pong paddle is a very original idea :)
That's pretty impressive as the final wave is pretty hard even for me as the dev! Also, thanks for the feedback! I replied this to a comment below as well, but I think it would have been cool to have a minigame of deflecting enough asteroids into one another to restore health. This would have added some depth to endless mode too. I appreciate the super kind words, thanks for playing :)
Cool game! I have to say, it's somehow extremely satisfying to play the spinning mechanic just clicks! Managed to beat the final wave after a few attempts :)
Unfortunately the game is clearly a prototype. The idea could work, if well balanced. The menu doesn't work so after 10 seconds in, when you get your first defeat, you just can't restart the wave.
