Nice, have not seen many strategy games here, and this feels really complete. Overall i really enjoyed it.
I would suggest to try “less depth” (fewer building types) for a game jam entry next time. With the symbols not being related to the resources gained as well as being quite complex instead of maybe simple shapes or icons, it was a bit overwhelming and hard to apporach at the beginning.
Maybe instead of using symbols from astrology or alchemy, you could have used weather icons like a sun, tornado, raincloud, … for the events. And either stick to numbers or use plain shapes/colors like square, triangle and circle, … for the resource markers.
A really impressive game!
Tho, one criticism would be that the text and icons can be very small at times
Fun game! Unfortunately it bugged out and the UI locked up but I was on the way to victory anyway. I really like the build restrictions as a mechanic idea.
I like strategy games but this has too many symbols for me to keep track of anything. I just spammed building in spots with max resource coverage and waited to get the rolls i needed for great works. Polished game but i didn't find the mechanics to be create meaningful decisions.
Really interesting!
Wow, this has some serious full release potential. What a deep and interesting game. I really liked. Nice audios and beatiful visuals, with a fun and rewarding gameplay. Very well done!
I didn't expect to find something this deep during a game jam. I started playing for a while and realised there is a lot to offer from this! I appreciated the slow paced tutorial as well - this is a great submission, and crazy that it even supports multiplayer.
Will definitely come back to this one.
Holy shmoly! I'm back playing the game after playtest and you did a FABULOUS job adding tutorialisation and made your impressively deep mechanics more approachable for dummies like me with the traditional lumber, wheat, etc. and all the added UI.
So impressive you made this in a week, I'm proud of you, you should be proud of you too 🥲!
How is this even a game jam project??? There's so many different mechanics and although I haven't tried inviting anyone else to play, that feature is sure to have been complicated. This deserves to be considered a full game and I might come back to it if I ever find the time! I'm impressed and although it isn't really my cup of tea, I bet if I took the time to learn strategies, I could really enjoy this game!
Really fun and in-depth!! I enjoy the core concept of how actions in the game are effected every turn by the wheel. It can be kind of hard sometimes to track everything, some extra visual polish would go a long way a think. Overall, I'd love to see this game expanded on!
I love your game! One of my favorites so far. I could see it as a full release with just a little more polish.
Amazing gameplay 5/5 enjoyement for me ! I will also try to play with someone else later
I don't know how you managed to pull out a fully fledged board game (with this nice graphic style, I mean >:O )
Very nice and complete game!!
Had a lot of fun with it (⌐■_■)
The game looks great and the music suits the style perfectly. I really like the addition of the ‘gambling’ to the board game. I’s a good idea. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to tweak the progression curve a bit. In the first few turns I feel like I can’t do anything, and then the number of possibility suddenly spikes.
really fun game. I love board games and this made me happy. Maybe a little complex at first and the feedback on each round could be a little clearer (summary) but I really enjoyed my time with it. Nice entry
This is so cool with great systems!!
Hey! Game looks cool, but I went through 5 turns withotu being able to anything because I did not have any resources or gold to build anything. I was just spinning, and having to pass my turn. Maybe some early game balance is needed? Or maybe I'm missing something. Good luck!
