Such a lovely game! I had a nice calming time playing it, the art is so good!

Art is absolutely lovely! But the gameplay leans a bit too much into random chance

Awesome stuff! As everyone else has mentioned, this game's artstyle is amazing. Easiest 5/5 visuals rating thus far.

Obvious artstyle comments aside, I also really like the game's theming. This could've been a generic adventure through the forest as some boilerplate wizard, but the make-believe children's game aesthetic does a lot to make the game stand out. It also helps justify the presence of a spinning wheel with elements on it being used for combat. It feels like a believable part of the game, rather than UI pasted on by a game designer. I also love how the game sounds; music and sfx are both great.

My only real complaint concerns gameplay. I like the 5-way rock-paper-scissors system you have going, and being able to change your wheel is really nice. Even so, the gameplay itself is quite… empty? You guess what the opponent's wheel is gonna be, change up yours, and then see if you were lucky. If you were unlucky, you just change your wheel to counter the opponents and then try again. There's not really that much to it; you just set your wheel, click the spin button, and try again if you're unlucky. It would have been nice to have some sort of player agency during combat, not just setting the wheel beforehand.

But overall, this was great. I was recommended this one on the Juniper Dev Discord, and it definitely delivered.

I wish you could unlock the Dragon and the Princess!

I love the art and concept! its a cute game but unfortunately it suffers from being a bit too random. I can’t think of so sorry if this isn’t very helpful feedback but I wonder if there’s a way to give players more agency while not taking away from the rock paper scissors theming

Cool game! I liked the art style a lot, and the slight strategic part of trying to guess what the opponents elements were was fun. Nice job!

Love the artstyle! I have no nitpicks, Excellent Work!

I adore this game!! Obviously the art style is great, but also the gameplay being a fairly fleshed out rock-paper-scissors was a fun surprise. I had a good time trying to guess the opponent's wheel and picking counters. Excellent jam game!!!

I love this so much! The art style and characters are so whimsical. Wonderful job! I rated 24/25 :D

This is really, really charming along with a great concept! The first try of each battle does feel like a game of chance because of not knowing the opponent's wheel, but that's not a problem due to being able to retry the battle without having to go back to the start. Said battles do end up being easy to win after the first attempt though as you can then mostly or fully equip the element with the highest likelyhood of winning and just try until you get lucky.

I love the game and love the drawings and the whole vibe of it and the game concept, would love to play more of it if you plan to expand on it, one suggestion I would add is there should be an incentive to not just make the whole board one element that is more likely to win, the player should add it for themselves and not do what I did I know :D, but still would be an improvement I think to not allow an element to be used more than three times on a board (or even two but then the dragon is cheating :D), but overall wonderful game and I enjoyed playing it a lot, amazing work ♥

10/10 Visuals, really impressive what you were able to achieve in 7 days. One other note that I haven't seen other people touch on, it'd be cool if the different classes had different abilities.

Yoooo the art is amazing!! It's such a cute game! Fun way to interpret the theme. I do wish there was some way to better prepare for the next fight, like a hint at what they might be weak against or use more of... I didn't think the archer would have so much electricity, I really banked on them being more grass or earth oriented. But thankfully it doesn't punish you for losing so you can just change the wheel and try again. Although if there were more stakes involved it would be even more fun to play. Would love to see this built out even more and further polished!

Congrats on finishing ur game!

Loved the visuals and sfx

As for the game mechanics, I think it would be cool if the play could switch one of the five fears once per round (the same goes for the enemy), cause it could add a new RPS layer
