A bit inconsistent at times, but the graphics look good. If you continue with this idea, consider giving the player more influence over the wheel, maybe letting choose among multiple wheels, or somehow changing the size of the skill slots, or make the spinning mechanic in addition to regular attacks… Or go the complete opposite way and make it an idler… Just some ideas. Cheers!
Thank you so much for playing.. i really appreciate the feedback <3
The game is well-polished and I appreciate the effort in the voice acting and visual effects. My only issue is the lack of agency during battles. You can either commit to an auto-battler style, where the wheel spins automatically or allow some influence to the wheel's spin to justify the existence of the wheel mechanically (although of course it can just be thematic). Also, I understand that this is just a jam game so you're probably just using whatever assets are available but it would be nice to commit to a full pixel art style so that no element looks out of place. But I think it has a lot of potential to become a full game. Great job!
Very fun! One of the best wheel integrations I've seen this jam. Even though the result was completly random, I still had a good time playing. It would be nice with an option to affect the wheel in the future! But other than that, it was a very fun and good looking/sounding game!
Thank you so much for playing. Enjoyed your game and your stream, I was great to get live feedback as well. Much appreciate it <3
Really cool game! It definately has potential. I would love to see the full game release after the jam. It might need some balances in terms of how much money you get maybe, and there are a few bugs here and there, but overall really cool concept!!
Thank you so much for playing. I really appreciate the feedback. I plan on working more on the game and release and updated version.
I really enjoyed this, played for 11 rounds! It would have been cool to see a boss fight after 7-8 rounds.
I don't have many notes, only that I would like to see more polish with what's there - like seeing more indication of your enemy's turn, and what the outcome of each spin is (like live calculations, sometimes it was hard to tell what the outcome number would be). I hope you keep working on this, it's a cool idea!
Thank you so much.. I will work on the game and implement the feedbacks.. Glad you enjoyed it <3
I really like the pixel art! I think the UI could be improved quite a bit, both in terms of design and visual feedback. At the beginning, I wasn't always sure whether it was my turn or the enemy's.
I also think it would be cool if both the player and the enemy had their own wheel. That way, they could have different abilities, and any upgrades you unlock would be reflected directly on your own wheel.
You could also add more meaningful decision-making instead of having everything rely on randomness.
Good job!
Thank so much for playing and the feedback. I will surely add some more features in the future 🤗
The game looks and sounds very pollished already! Cool idea to give the enemies access to all the same actions as the player through the weel. Right now the gameloop feels a little too dependant on luck, but apart from that it has a lot going for it!
Cool game! the visuals are REALLY good and the music is such a banger!! wish the gameplay was less repetitive tho and winning a bit more fruitful. would love to see this develop further!
Very pretty and fairly polished! Was sad there wasn’t an end boss but totally understandable. I liked the story aspect and the voice acting was a nice touch. The mechanics played very nicely, though it felt like there wasn’t much agency I had for the outcome of a battle outside the upgrades, especially early on. It wasn’t suuuper clear at first what everything did, but it was very satisfying getting to the point doing huge damage and clearing the mooks with ease.
Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it. In future I will try to add more mechanics to it.
Such a cool take on the theme and twist on turn based battles! Really kinda addicting, well done! Would love to see this expanded further tbh
Thank you so much. I'm glad to enjoy it. I hope to work more on the game and hopefully you will get to play the ending as well.
Overall really fun! I like the visuals and the game as a whole. Only critique is that I'd like to see more variety in the mechanics
Great idea with the story line.
I think in the game I missed a bit of control? I mean upgrades for the character itself and not only the wheel upgrades and probably adding some passive perks may be a good idea.
However the game is well polishes and interesting. Enjoyed playing.
With some roguelike perks it can become a really nice full game, well done :D
the lack of agency is kinda annoying but i had some fun, the art and music are well crafted and the game runs very well, great stuff!
This game was fun!
Great game, I love the upgrade system being a bit of a "bet" on the wheel, with options for scaling or immediate rewards. Very addicting despite the simplicity!
One thing I noticed though is that when the enemy spins the wheel, if they land on money, it procs as if the player landed on it and increases your money amount. I'm not sure if this is intended, as this behavior is not consistent with other spots on the wheel. Other than that, the wheel game mechanic seem very intuitive and fun!
Visually this game is stunning! The artwork and voice acting are definitely the highlights! If you continue working on this and add more fighting mechanics I would totally come back and play more of it! Amazing job.
Fantastic pixel art!
I really love the art style and aesthetics, great work!
This game turned out amazing! The art and gameplay really captivated me!
The spinning mechanic and the shop are really cool!
As feedback, I would add more background music and make the distinction between my turn and the enemy's turn clearer.
