Thanks so much for the detailed feedback :) it really helps to see what we did right and wrong, so I appreciate it a lot!

Really throws you in with the difficulty lol. I think any rhythm game benefits greatly from better and readable UI and effects. Bursts of particles or something when you hit a correct beat, or some kind of sound effect or visual effect when you miss a beat. As it is you don’t get very much feedback except for a small number score that I can barely keep track of if I have to focus on the arrows flying my way.
I really quite liked this one! Some kind of rage game like this was my first idea as well. It feels polished and smooth to play and very well presented and put together. I did quite enjoy just trusting myself over the level and committing to the jumps and hoping for the best.
I wish there was slightly more to the game. The core is done well, but some more twists and mechanics would’ve served it well. It ended up feeling like the same level 10 times, which is unfortunate as it is otherwise quite fun.
Fun gameplay loop! Fairly simple but the core mechanics felt polished and fun to shoot.
Some of the UI got in the way of seeing people on my screen. Also the music loop got a bit grating after a bit since it was so short. The theme implementation also felt a bit flimsy to me, but I get where it’s coming from.
Those nitpicks aside I enjoyed playing it. Well done :)
Yeah I clicked cause of boobs…
But the character art is SO PRETTY. I kinda wish the environment was a bit more than “prototype textures” but it still looked really cool and atmospheric despite that somehow lol.
The gameplay itself is pretty simple and straightforward, just a simple game of bluff and dice. But the atmosphere and narrative hooks you in and definitely triggers that gambler’s itch for just one more roll.
Well done, and congrats on the entry!
The visuals are stunning and the presentation is so well polished! From the UI and menus to the levels themselves. Even though it was built with premade assets it’s put together very nicely! The narrative is interesting in an abstract kind of way that you really have to stop and process what’s going on. It really adds to the theme implementation I think, as it relies heavily on the narrative.
Congrats on the entry, this one really stands out from a lot of the others!
Played it all the way through, which I admit I don’t for most jam games, but I had fun with it! The game loop was satisfying enough even if it was simple, and the theme implementation worked pretty well. My only criticism is really the UI could’ve used some love as well. Default engine panels, buttons, and fonts take me out of it a bit, plus they weren’t scaled properly and there was some bugs where the BBCode was incorrect and showed in the text instead of coloring the text.
Other than that, well done! A solid experience.
I really wanted to like this more but found it more frustrating. Maybe it’s cause I’m a huge fan of minesweeper so my expectations were being messed with, but I do think a better “trust” mechanic would’ve gone a long way. Clicking a number pops up nonsensical (to me) dialogue with options to trust or distrust, which feel wholly arbitrary to me. It’s like the times in minesweeper where you’re forced to guess, but with extra steps.
Still, clever take on the theme, and congrats on putting something together! +1 for settings options, always nice to see in a jam game.
This is really cute and polished! The art is great and coherent and it feels smooth to play. Sure the mechanics are simple but still. I’m bad at these kinda games but still had some fun solving puzzles. I do wish there was an undo button, but I understand that’s maybe not common in the “classic” Sokoban experience.
Congrats on the entry!
I quite like 2048 so it’s fun seeing a take on it that fits the theme! I did kinda find myself just wanting to play regular 2048 and forgot to engage with the mechanics x.x I think the mechanics could be presented more up front, but that’s a skill issue on me. Once I got the hang of them it was quite enjoyable. Visuals are clean though, very attractive art style. Congrats on the entry!
Cute game! The visuals and UI are very clean and easy to read. Mechanically pretty simple, I’ve seen quite a few jam games do the computer interface popup minigame thing, but still an enjoyable experience! The theme is implemented narratively with some cute wordplay. Was there a different ending if you didn’t sign? I definitely feel dumb for trusting no 1 xD
I find the GDD requirement silly so I don’t really take it seriously.
But thanks for playing :) that’s the exact reaction from people I was looking for so mission accomplished <3 you’re right about checkpoints in terms of UX… but I kinda like the feeling invoked having to do the full walk back ^^
Congrats on beating it!
The best feedback I could get is that you were invested enough to play through to the end :) tysm <3
Yes, the difficulty and uncertainty and stress are maybe elements that we tend to polish away, but I felt was important for the experience I wanted to convey. I’m really glad you pushed through despite that, and I appreciate the detailed feedback, it’s always lovely to get insights like these ^^
Ty for playing!
Tysm!! Your kind words and feedback really mean a lot <3 it makes me so happy when people enjoy it and especially beat it, despite the flaws or frustrations. Level design is my weakest skill, so it’s heartwarming to hear that I didn’t do too bad on that front!
I intend to polish up movement and bugs after the jam. Ty again for playing <3
The mechanics and controls are very polished. I loved how all the mechanics were introduced one at a time and the puzzles were great. Felt very nice and satisfying. It all feels pretty well put together. Unfortunately the mechanics of the boss fight and his head hitbox were really inconsistent/frustrating, so I didn’t get past that. I’d hit his head but it wouldn’t count as a hit :/. Well done overall though!
