It may be cause I'm a scrub but I died fairly quickly in all my runs. Yet it was truly still addictive & fun. Honestly this game could easily become a full game without the theme mechanic, though my honest to god one worry after removing that would be people seeing it as generic, if you were to remove the weakness mechanic and add in either something mechanical, story-based or art-related that would feel really unique and or new you would have an incredibly solid game on your hands, screw the jam, I'd love to see this game become a full fledged game and have a release on steam, honestly I'd help with programming for free just cause I really liked some of the mechanics here. this screams potential to me

It was a bit addictive, hard to stop playing :D Well polished entry. My only concern is the music would be mutable.

The pause menu is the first priority after the jam is over, thanks for playing the game!

The visual style is quite good. I’d like a thicker font, and the blue was hard to distinguish because it’s so light. A button to speed up the enemies’ turns would also be nice. The concept is well implemented. Thanks for playing! ^^

Developer(+1)

Thank you, and yeah we should probably change the color for the Empower text and add a toggle to speed up enemy turns if we continue to work on this. We appreciate the feedback!

The art is so cute and the visuals are very cohesive! The gameplay is pretty solid as well, but I did feel the theme implementation was working against me more than it was something I could utilize. Maybe I say that cause I kept dying though xD. Pretty polished overall, good job!

I'm glad you liked the art and UI, we spent a lot of time thinking on how to make it easy to read. As for the theme implementation, that was actually something that we were concerned about when coming up with the different liabilities. Some of the earlier liabilities that we came up with were just straight up stat debuffs lol. We instead went with it being something that made you change the way you played, or something that had both a positive and negative effect. Thanks for the feedback!

Cute game, it would be cool if you had a shop or some sort of option to camp, to try and replenish the team's HP between enemies. Also love the cursor being a sword!

Developer(+1)

Hi, I'm glad you enjoyed the cursor, it was a last second addition lol. As for the camp/shop, we wanted to make it a point for the player making the choice between committing to a party member with a liability that you already know or gambling on a full HP party member with a worse liability. If we were to keep working on this, we might consider changing that up though. Thank you for the feedback!

I really liked the concept! It’s got a *Darkest Dungeon* vibe—really cool! Great work on the mechanics!

The art and the game concept were nice. It's a beautiful game that I really enjoyed. Great job!

a really impressive variety of classes and abilities that all feel unique and fun, to pull that off in just a week of development is something you should be massively proud of :)
