This game was rly fun!
Thank you so much!
Very clever puzzle game!
It did take me a little while for it to click at the beginning, but really super well designed and the wind up mechanic is quite satisfying. Nice escalation of difficulty too!
Thank you! We are glad that you enjoyed it.
A nice puzzle game featuring a programmable toy. I’ve always enjoyed the idea of programming things and watching them execute the commands I give; I feel a sense of satisfaction when I succeed. This game is a good example of this genre. Well done ^^
Thank you so much. It was also really fun to work on, especially when I was able to watch my teammates play a level I made for the first time.
I am happy to hear that you enjoyed it.
didn't expect a good puzzle game in this game jam, but you have proven that i was wrong! thank you for your game
That really means a lot! Thank you so much.
this was such a nice brain teaser! the winding mechanic feels super fun to play around once i got the hang of how the rules work. i admittedly spent a bit too long beating the first level than i'd like to admit xd. i feel that the biggest hurdle understanding that rules was what contexts/actions execute on a loop every X amount of turns and what contexts/actions execute only on turn X. i think having an indicator to distinguish between actions that run on a loop or on a specific turn would improve readability! it can maybe be distinguished by the winding key color, which can already be seen by the grey winding key on the fixed punching robots, since their behavior runs on a loop every X turns, so maybe looping actions are grey winding keys while action on X turn would be a gold winding key? but yeah once i figured out the rules, things went pretty smoothly with a good amount of ramp of difficulty and a nice variety of different mechanics introduced! the art and audio are also really nice and add to the games vibes. the limited color palette and the audio feedback really helps feeding information to the player while not being distracting to the senses! super fun to go through all the levels, had a blast with this one! congrats on the submission!

Wow what an honor! Thank you for playing all of the levels, that makes me really happy and proud. I appreciate the kind words about all the different parts.
If we decide to continue on this game after the jam it will be something we will take into consideration. Great ideas and it can help with the clarity of the controls/behavior.
I got around to yall's game, super cool! Loved how it slowly introduced more obstacles per level to avoid overwhelming the player with new mechanics. The visuals are also amazing. Well done, everyone!
Thank you that really means a lot to us! Glad that you enjoyed it.
Sheesh. Our shader does indeed look similar. Aside from the art style, I think the mechanic aren't too fancy, which is good and pretty fit for a week game jam. Nice work!
Thanks a lot. And yes we tried to keep the mechanics kinda simple but polished. Appreciate it.
I wish I understood how to sequence things correctly in this game because it looks really fun.
I found the tutorial a little hard to understand.
Nice concept for a puzzle game :)
Creative spin on the theme. I found the 'How to play' a bit confusing at first, although eventually learnt the gameplay. Unwinding was also a little difficult. Despite this, overall unique game!
Thank you for your feedback!
This is something I personally haven't paid close attention to during testing because in the little window we used for testing you get more range of motion to the left and the ui was placed to the left to prioritize winding up. I tested it now and in fullscreen and/or no second monitor to the left I can see how difficult it can really be.
Thanks for the insight.
Cool game mechanic. Nice look and feel, too. The explanation felt more complicated than the gameplay itself, altho I got stuck at level 3 where the mechanic was still simple.
Love it! it reminds me of the board game RoboRally
Thank you! I was not familiar with that game but looked it up and this is a really nice compliment!
Definitely have to order that game now haha.
Really creative game! I love the premise of it and the mechanic of it is actually quite cool! Though I do find the puzzles are too challenging and the mechanics are a bit hard to get used to. I wished there were a more hands on tutorial rather than the text at the start of the game to get a feel of the mechanic at the start. The visuals are poppin and the audio is chill and satisfying! I'm unsure about the seriousness part but it is kinda serious I guess xD. Great work!!
Thank you for your kind words, really appreciate it.
If we continue working on the game, this will be a thing we are going to change to probably be more hands on as you have mentioned.
The "how to play" section was one of the last things we added before submitting and we felt there was not enough time to make it more intricate. Will definitely pay more attention to this in the future :)
That's completely fair. I mean it's a game jam after all xD
The knob is quite hard to control at first until I realized that I have to click, drag it to the fullest to get the mouse range before moving it back to unwind (very unintuitive). It took some time to understand the mechanics as I have to go back and forth between the tutorial and the gameplay. I wish there is a retry button instead of waiting for the retries to end just to try again. Interesting puzzle tho, would be great if it is intuitive and easy to understand at first.
Thank you for your feedback, I appreciate your honesty!
There is a restart button in the pause menu (ESC), but we noticed that this key is a bit unfortunate for the browser version as it also exits fullscreen.
Nice puzzle game
Thank you :)
