I absolutely love the concept of this game, its a really fun one. Love the visual style too. Great job!
I love the style, I don't know if this is an endless mode, but its pretty cool how you introduce each new bullet ability linearly, the style and lighting is cool and the movement is smooth, combat is pretty simple, I found that I can just spam click while running around is the main tactic, other than that, its a pretty cool game!
The speed and fluidity of the gameplay is really nice! Very well executed!
The progression is just a bit slow in comparison. (One too many rooms per floor and one too much added HP to enemies on subsequent floors) I would love to push for an all Rockets or Ricochet build, but the difficulty/stats ramp has started to become a time sink.
A minor frustration I had was being trapped in a corner (usually the entry door) by a group of the melee guys. I suggest giving the player a kind of Push Back melee attack to help make space.
One more addition could be HP bars on the enemies, it would help with moment to moment decision making (finding the best target for your current bullet) on top of spamming the shots (witch is also fun).
The style is great and grounds the world!
All the systems work very well and are well balances (speeds, shots, level design, movement).
Definitely a great little project, you guys should be proud!
I had good fun with it!
A FPS russian roulette roguelike was not what I expected, but I was absolutely not disappointed! The concept is cool and well executed, the visuals and sound design are spot on, and the feeling of speed when moving is really satisfying. The game is clearly very ambitious which explains why a browser version isn't possible, though it's a shame as many people will inevitably miss out this cool jam entry... Excellent work!
Pretty impressive work, i had one confusion where i thought you had to keep reloading untill you got your bullet, but then realised you could just keep shooting blanks untill you got your bullets, maybe that could have been explained better.
But yea, cool idea, good execution, nicely done.
the reloading is way to slow and you have to do headshot to kill the agents. the asthetic is pleasing, the musci a bit repetitive. it runs poorly on less powerful hardware
incredibly fun, i love the noir vibe and the artstyle, though i found the reloading a bit confusing at first, and the levels were a bit repetetive, enjoyed it nonetheless
Excellent work! I wish there was a Linux version though. Had to boot up windows to try it out.
Do you have plans to develop this further? Seems to me there is potential in this game for a larger experience.
Love the noir aesthetic, really fun game. I enjoy the chaos that ensues when I have all the different types of bullets and there are many enemies on screen. Great job!
Man, I love your aesthetic and the implementation of the theme so much (Plus your thumbnail art is very nice). The upgrade mechanic is also quite cool. The music, also very fitting.
But I'm not sure about that reloading mechanic.
There were times when I went for a while without being able to shoot at all due to getting only blanks for a while.
I think you could consider tweaking whatever formula is being used to calculate the reload result. Maybe after a number of reloads, if none is a bullet, you force the next one to be a bullet. Kind of like a player pity system to ensure the gun fights continue at a decent pace
Fair enough, the fun of the system shows up more when you get to higher floors and have a more full mag to play around with, knowing the order of your bullets is great, but I do find that not knowing which one you're going to start with adds a bit of chaotic fun to what would be a pretty cookie cutter combat otherwise. Thanks for playing!
The game is really fun, and I can clearly see the theme reflected in the gameplay.
I’d like to leave some constructive feedback:
- The game took a while to compile shaders and looked broken the first time I opened it. I’d recommend using the free Async Loading plugin, since it can help avoid players getting stuck on shaders.
- The level design could be improved a bit. Heres an excellent article that I think fits your game specifically

Overall, nice work!
I loved the aesthetic of the game and the music really elevated the experience. Seeing what all the bullets do is really fun. One feedback that I have is that the level felt too repetitive after a while. Otherwise, I'm excited to see what you guys make next!
The aesthetic here is really well played - I can't help but feel like it needs something more though. As someone else mentioned, the different bullet types could have played more into it - such as enemies that are only vulnerable to certain kinds of ammo, or some way to refine the gunplay so fanning the hammer isn't the dominant strategy.
All in all, really fun lil shooter with some nice feeling movement, though it is possible to get mobbed at the room start door and locked in by the melee enemies before you can react.
Or so I've heard. Definitely didn't happen to me.
Definitely didn't then shoot myself with a rocket.
