i love cephalopods
This was fun! I really like how it feels to zoom around, and it's genuinely so clever that you chose a character whose body is naturally shaped like an arrow. I didn't realize until I had like 30 seconds left that the timer was ticking up until 8:00 rather than ticking down.
Short and sweet, and I'm glad it zooms out when you go really fast. I got the gear.
Really fun and satisfying to spin and release when i get used to it! So cool mechanics! Great job!
Fun mechanics! It got too easy once I realized that I can steer after spinning and launching.
did not get to my boss in time BUT super cute nonetheless in both graphics and mechanics!!
Cute concept, but my boss is mad that I can't get to work on time. :P Really well done (even if it's too hard for me to get there on time), great visuals and really good concept!
Just in time! Really loved the audio and unique gameplay. Also i agree with the guy who said this would be great on mobile
Really fun and unique concept! The movement feels great and honestly could see this as a racing game between real people! Managed to get to work on my second try but just barely.
Sometimes when hitting the curbs on the road feels like the player gets a bit stuck which kills a bit of the momentum.
Really fun game that could easily be expanded upon in the future!
Fun little game! If you could play this on a phone, it could be a big success. The art is beautiful and the music is so good. Keep up the good work and have a great day😊
Keep this a secret but it has touch controls, we just didn't have time to add a label to explain them too 🤫
Okay thanks😄 I will keep it secret🤫Have a great day
this feels almost like an evolution of qwop in a good way like the controls are funky but are SUPER fun, great job
Spinning to boost is really fun. I would be so cool to have a racing game like this.
Great spin on the theme! I got fired a lot however, I didn't need those jobs anyway
Very cute art and a nice implementation of the theme. It took me a little while to figure out how to get the boost - I kept trying to alternate left/right so I could boost in a straight line, but after I realised staying still and doing a huge turn gave you a large boost, I mostly relied on that. I think making the time flash and shake as it got closer to 8:00 would've added to the stress nicely, but overall you did a great job with it!

It's really fun and engaging! You did a great job incorporating the jam's theme into the gameplay mechanics. Great work! 👏
Such a simple but fun mechanic to play with! I suck at it but chaining high speed launches is very fun when done right. A minimap could’ve been helpful so I know where I’m going and plan my route instead of launching right into a wall off screen xD but no well done, a short fun simple experience
I had a lot of fun playing your game! I really liked how you incorporated the jam theme. Building up the squid's "turbo" by spinning more and more to travel farther was a really fun mechanic.
At first, I found it difficult to aim the launch because of the limited visibility of where the squid was going. However, once I realized you can keep spinning while using the turbo to avoid obstacles, everything clicked and it became much easier and more enjoyable.
The squishy sound effects were also great—they made the squid feel soft and gooey, which added a lot to the experience.
Overall, I really enjoyed it. Great job!
Very cute and nice impact feedback. Even though I don’t get the mission yet.
hey if you wanna try playing again, just go right when you start and follow the road, the goal is to get to work before 8, we didn't add any indicators because we wanted the player to feel the stress of being late to work
the game is very cute! i love the squid! the art styler is nice and i really love the world building, it looks kinda like bikini bottom from spongebob lol. it's a very polished game, there's good music and good sfx,
note that a lot of what i say is kinda just how i personally experienced it.
i found the game fun! i had issues though with the movement, the spinning was a bit too fast for me to be able to time it properly. i think difficulty settings could be good for this!
it's a bit hard to control sometimes when I'm dashing, i think that's intentional though.
overall very fun and a very cute game!
Very cool game, I love the skill ceiling with the movement as initially I thought it was a bit gimmicky but then as I played I realised the depth that it had to offer. The difficulty felt like it was set at an appropriate level because I couldn't beat the game on my first few runs, but once I got used to the map and the movement I managed to win. The music is a bop and I liked the sound effects. The only minor things which I thought could be improved would be the level design which started to get a bit repetitive and better indication of how long you have left. Again very minor because after the first run you work out you have to get to work for 8. However, that is not communicated at the start.
