Forgot to comment on this when I first played it. I think it's such a cool idea for a game and strangely addicting too. The #2 spot for enjoyment is absolutely deserved. Maybe my only complaint is that it slightly lagged for me a bit so adding a potato graphics option could be nice. Either way it's a lot of fun and I find myself coming back to it even after the jam is over.

This game was so fun. The icing detection works perfectly. Every time I got points for a cake the amount always felt fair. Perfects/Bads aren’t too easy or too hard to get which is great. The music/sound design is also awesome. The effects when in Frenzy Mode were appreciated. The speed up in Frenzy Mode is fun as you can use the faster rotation to help with certain patterns. The only thing I’d want is an option to disable the Boss’s dialogue. It’s great at first but after a little while it becomes a bit distracting (though honestly this is a nitpick).

This was great. Trying to get the shapes right at different speeds seems to be relly balanced well in terms of difficulty. The sound design is great and the background track was really fun and fit the frenzy mode really well. The UI and gameplay feels really polished, too!

My only criticism would be that there's not enough different shapes to make, or that they're not all equally difficult. It would add some more variety if there were different ones. They seem to show up randomly, so it can be a little luck-based getting a higher score.

Excellent game, I had a blast!

The mechanic in itself is very simple, but the challenge the game brings has its way to completely absorb you and makes you want to try beating your best score and reaching the ladder.

Damn this game was incredibly fun to play! It's such a cool integration of the theme, perfectly executed at just the right difficulty. The music slaps so hard and actually got me to try to hurry through all the cakes. 10/10 super fun!

Definitely feels like a "Wii Sports Resorts" but Restaurant spin-off. Great stuff here all around.

Holy moly, this is perfect, and I'm not just proposing that. This is a really good and very polished entry! The arcade game structure combined with the semi challenging gameplay works really well and doesn't feel repetitive at all even with the handful of patterns. The frenzy mode is also a great addition which drives away monotony, although the transition out would always mess me up since the rotational speed would change abruptly... This game fits the theme really well, has visuals I really vibe with! (although a little more contrast in the menus would be nice). And the audio is incredible. I especially like the sound that plays when you start a run.

All in all, Incredible Work! Great Job!

this was genuinely one of the most most fun submissions I went through, and the music slaps! I love the energy of it all, though for some reason my biggest nemesis is the straight line 😭 I could get 5 perfects in a row and then the straight line get a good lol

This was an amazing game! I loved playing it so much. The adaptive music was also awesome to listen to lol :)

This was a great take on the theme!  Very frantic and fun.  I love how simple the core mechanic is, and yet how tense the gameplay gets.  I also love the variety, in that sometimes the spin helps you and everything feels great, and other times you have to really fight the spin.  Are those random, or are you intentionally mixing them up so that sometimes the spin helps and sometimes it hurts?

The graphics and sound design are also top-notch, making for a really polished experience.  The frosting itself has a nice look to it (and I love the glossy look of everything).  My boss yelling at me for a particularly-bad cake is also a nice touch :)

I like games like this that just take a simple, fun idea and execute it well without trying to pile a bunch of extra stuff on top of it.  Amazing job!

Creative take on the theme and very fun. The frenzy music hyped me up so much and is such a bop. Would love more cake designs but this is amazing work for a week. Plus the leader board is a sick touch

I love the fast paced gameplay and the highscore too because we all love competitions, and the music it suits the gamplay so well
