Neat little marble game~ Tho, should add motion sickness warning cause it can be nauseating to play at times. I do enjoyed it tho despite the dizzying game.
I'm a sucker for this kind of puzzle game, so this was right up my alley! The only issues I had were very minor (some background UI scaling issues) but it didn't effect my experience too much. With a bit of polish and more levels I could see this expanding into a full game!
Very simple concept well executed!
Very simple and still so fun.
A really fun game and a nice take on the theme
Pretty relaxing and chill game. Would have wanted a next level button, or returning to the level select rather than the main menu after every game though.
I've seen this idea before, but it's still a great one
This was a calming experience ! Might be a nice mobile game maybe ? I think a lot of people would love to play a game like this after work or something while on a bus ride home. Nice work on music Mason !!! Coming from a musician to a musician, it works really well here for your game guys !
Lovely :)
Enjoyed the levels and although the control were a bit janky at times, after a level or two, they came to me somewhat naturally. The music added a nice calm feeling to it and the visuals do their job.
What I was wishing for, while palying the game was a next level button, so I don't have to always remember which level I was on. I also think that the coloured blocks could've been implemented earlier, since the later half of the first five levels started to feel a bit boring and repetitive.
But overall, good game.
Really Fun game, we did something similar in the game we submitted! I really enjoyed the music, and solving the mazes was very satisfying good job!
I like the music, the assets (even though they're not consistent and don't fit that well) and the base gameplay idea, but it has it's problems with how it's programmed sadly. Here are some ideas on how you could improve it:
- Add more music tracks or make the music play all the time, even in menu, looping over and over instead of ending when level ends and starting again when you enter the next level. Gets tiring hearing the same beginning of the song over and over.
- Polish the UI. It's difficult on the eyes.
- Maybe add "next level" and "level select" buttons? Don't send the player to the main menu every time they beat a level.
- Make the ball sprite actually spin, give it better physics.
- Tweak the rotation speed, maybe add a little fade in and fade out when pressing and releasing left/right so it's not that instant.
But yeah, the idea is there and it's nice. Congrats!
This is a fun idea!
A few small notes first, the music was really quiet for me, even with the game having it at full volume by default. Also, I don't know if that was intentional, but I don't think the levels should all be unlocked at the start.
I liked the concept, but the game felt too unintentionally challenging in a way that didn't make it fun to play. The black walls get lost in the brown floor while spinning, so I often found myself loosing track of the walls very often. And the movement of the marble doesn't seem responsive enough, like it moves much slower than the max speed you can spin the maze. So it was really hard to time my spins right to get the marble to go where I wanted it to. All that on top of the camera being locked onto the marble, that made it hard to find my placement in the maze and almost made me motion sick when trying to spin.
Level 2 felt challenging to navigate with the quick turns, and Level 5 in particular felt completely unfair because I couldn't see the goal and I just had to guess which way to go at the start - that's when I decided I had enough.
I think it would be better if you zoomed the camera all the way out to show the entire maze and freeze it in place. Moving the camera back and adjusting the colors of the maze would be a huge improvement!
Other than that, the game offers a pretty fun idea. I did try some of the later levels and discovered the switching passes, which was a cool concept! Again, I think moving that camera and changing the colors of the maze would help a lot.
Simple and does what you designed it to do! I'd love some more juice and will set my motion sickness aside. Thanks for making a game!
Simple but fun! Sometimes it felt like the ball was stuck on the wall and couldn't move but otherwise a good game!
The spinning level is a cool idea, but rest in peace others who have more motion sickness tendencies XP. But yeah, good job guys!
i did feel quite motion sick playing this but it was really enjoyable!
some of the levels had some quite tricky movement which verged just over the edge of being frustrating rather than fun for me at times
fun game! i think if you center the marble on the screen and spin the maze around that, that might help with people feeling motion sickness
A really fun game with great music. Perfect for relaxing.
The fact that all the mazes spin can makes me feel a little queasy.
Well done!
Its fairly good for a game made by new devs ;) really like the music bvuyt the quit button doesnt work and my ball keeps getting stuck. i would consider adding other gameplay features cus this really gets stale after 3 levels the red thing confuses me though
GREAT IDEA WITH THE PASSAGE SWITCHING! GOOD JOB
The levels have the right difficulty level, some of them challenged me for a while XD
The spinning speed gave me some motion sickness, I'll probably reduce it a bit.
Cool job guys!
