Sorry, that I missed this during the jam but... holy fxxx. This is such a great game! Super addictive, so polish... I had to see all content and even though, I still wanted to continue playing. AMAZING! Everything in it is just great, and fit perfectly to elevate the core experience, which is already very solid.. Best game of the ones I tried by far! Congratulations and 200% deserved the rating.

I am a massive sucker for additctive gameplay loops with upgrades and this one is SOOOO POLISHED!! Phenomenal work and created so efficiently! :D

Submitted

It's a very cool game! Its only drawback is that it ended too quickly :)

Submitted

AMAZING game! Wish I had found it earlier lol. The mid-air attacks/collecting were very satisfying and I had fun. Great work! Full marks from me :D

Submitted

Really cool game. Very polished. The evolution of the orbits and the upgrades is very funny.

Great work

Developer

Thank you! :D

Really fun and polished game! I love how the upgrades make visible impact rather than just stats boost.

Developer

Ah! From the creator of Grapple themselves. Thank you. :)

This was fun to play. I agree with the other comments saying that this game is too easy at the end, but I feel like you could expand this to have more enemy types, more upgrades, more comet types, maybe more planets and stars to orbit around.

Developer

Yeah, actually! Those are EXACTLY the kinds of things I was thinking could be expanded on. Great to hear someone thinking the same way. :D

I’ll try to make it harder in any updates haha.

Wonderfully polished game, the whole orbit mechanic is really interesting and fun to play. It got a bit too easy at the end.. If you continue to work an this, which would be awesome btw, it would be cool to have different enemies, maybe some with larger range.

Great game, really well done!!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for that! I totally should’ve experimented with different enemy types. Or just adjusted the way enemies spawn.

I may indeed expand this game. :)

This is begging to be made a rhythm game, great work, i love the visuals and how you don't need to use sprites to make a beautiful game.

Just as a tip, you don't need to use a bunch of circles to make the tracer of the planet, you can use the node Line2D in godot for the same result with more options, I used this video to make the tracers in our submission, with this you could do more stuff like satellites and such.

Anyways, great game!

Developer

Oh my gosh, really? I've been running into performance issues, and this might LITERALLY be the solution. I am so grateful you mentioned this. T~T

I'm gonna check out the video. :D

This game's graphics are quite crisp and the gameplay is simple yet hard to master. Very enjoyable.

Developer

Wow, thank you!

Really fun game! It's such a simple game but it works so well! I made it to 3 rings and got like +2 damage ish (just saying so you know more or less how far I went into it). My only complaint is that I was a bit lost in the beginning with no controls, like the arrows message that appears I didn't see it until I died lol, so maybe a more obvious cue would've been nice. Other than that, I really liked it :D

Developer(+1)

You’re not the first person to mention they didn’t notice the text hahaha. I’ll have to make it more obvious.

Super glad you tried it though! You were about 4 upgrades from beating it. :)

Submitted(+1)

Super fun! I had a lot of fun spinning around and hitting everything, the upgrades were satisfying, the visuals were beautiful and so was the sound design! Only real complaint I have is I wish there was a downloadable build since the web version would sometimes have lag spikes and hang, which happened often enough to annoy me. otherwise, a perfect score from me! well done!

Developer

Everyone has complained about the lag. And rightly so. xD I'm soooo sorry about the lag. I should've tested this on my potato before submitting. But thank you!

This game was really good!!! I immediately loved it. I'm a huge fan of games surrounding timing and this was very satisfying. I really like the way you varied the game play too. Peak submission

Developer(+1)

I consider this a huge compliment! I actually haven't played very many timing games myself, so hearing from someone who does enjoy those games is incredible feedback. Thank you!

Submitted

So much polish, so so much polish was put into this game. I enjoyed this so much, the amount of juice just made the experience so satisfying to me. Like the previous person said, a bit laggy but still, incredible experience.

Developer

Yeah, rip the lag. I didn't realize it was gonna be so bad haha. I'll patch it once this game jam is over.

Submitted (1 edit)

This game let me chill out and beat up comets, that's cool. The way it played into both a rhythm game and an incremental in a way, is neat. Made it feel like each time I went out I'd come back for a new cool goodie. And the sounds/effects made each action feel really nice.

I will say it got a lil laggy toward the end but that may just be a webgl thing, so no worries there tbh.

Awesome stuff though!

Developer(+1)

I have finally, finally started understanding why people have been labeling this an incremental game. For a long time, I was like, there's no "numbers go up!" at least not beyond what normal games have. But it's comments like these that have made me slowly realize that the feel of an incremental is the feel of a game unfolding and gradually expanding, and you slowly conquering the beginning parts of the game until they're no longer so manual. And that is, evidently, exactly what this game is.

Thank you so much for your kind words. :)

I love the vibe and the concept of the game !

The game is very polished and have good feedback

Like the other said, as it has a high pace and need to be precise, each sutter have a great impact in the feeling and the anticipation of the next space presses.

It's a excellent work !

Developer

Totally agree. I should've tested on my potato laptop hahaha.

Submitted(+1)

Incredible take on an incremental game, absolutely genius! The amount of polish clearly indicates this was made by professionals. Great art and sound design, every animation is so smooth and fluid!

Sometimes the game got a bit laggy for me, so I'd suggest putting out an executable version for people later on after the jam. Don't know what else to say, quite an achievement to get a game this good in a week! Great job!

Developer(+1)

What a compliment! Thank you! Especially since this is my first game jam and I'm a solo dev. :D Truly, that means so much to me.

I'll definitely fix the lag if I keep working on this game haha. I didn't realize it would be such an issue, but tons of people have reported it. Whoopsie.

Submitted(+1)

Very polished, satisfying, cool visuals and music !

The only downside imo is that it's too easy, enemies didn't feel like a real threat

Developer

I shall make a harder version. >:D

Submitted(+1)

This game was very polished and felt very smooth to play! Love the animation and juice

Developer

Thank you. :)
