Loved the spinning around like a maniac and avoiding the IRS! ALSO  the speedrunning elements and music were super fun!

Finally got around to playing it, and it did not disappoint- This game is genuinely super fun! I wish there were more levels, but the levels that are there are so well made, excellent level design. Love the sounds and ofc the jump mechanic is really fun!

One of the best games I’ve played in the jam!

Such an AWESOME GAME! I love the lil cat and the bullet time mechanic is SOOOO FUNN! I love the premise as well even though it is simple (and lowkey unhinged) its just awesome! The visuals are simple but great and highly fitting and the audio is implemented well as well! I would say this is HIGHLY serious! Overall, really great game and I enjoyed it so much! Awesome work!

Fun and very serious platformer.

I ran into an issue while on the first level, after escaping the IRS once (after going up the little water column), on the next section where the IRS pops up again, I couldn't really see my character. I'm not sure if it was because i used my right click ability to up and got stuck, but just wanted to report this little bug.

Overall, had a fun time playing the game!

I don't usually play movement-based platformers(Mostly because I suck at them) but this was really fun ,I would say adding a little bit of air control would make the experience more better. Other than that solid game

I mostly avoided the IRS yay! The game is really cute and silly. I unfortunately soft-locked myself the second time you meet the IRS. My little dude didn't make it above the platform and I couldn't come back. I guess I should pay my taxes. The mechanics were really smooth though. Great submission!

Supernice game with a funny theme! the movement felt great and the launching mechanic was fun to use! It did confuse me a little tho that the strenght didnt matter of your jump, maybe would have been nice to specify that somewhere in the beginning? but overall, great game and lots of potential to make more levels in the future!

Such a fun game, I loved the movement so much, I just want more levels with it now! The dialogue and story was so funny too!! I'm more fascinated on how this CAT was able to escape the IRS and not me though. smh.

Very unserious to escape the irs... I'll call the police.
But i've managed to escape so.... Maybe i wont.

Very serious! Very fun too. However, I feel like the cramped claustrophobic level desing compliments the fast flowing movement very well. Also the drag ability was a bit weird sometimes, since I couldn't get the direction I wanted (due to screen size and stuff).

This is a very, very, solid experience, good job. A very nice platformer, and very, very, serious simulator of how it is to actually try to escape the IRS. My uncle have tried this before, and let me tell you my friend, it is not easy, he did not made it... the ICE got him first...

I can't believe i was able to escape the IRS!

A couple small items before I forget:

• Wish there had been a smaller set of keys to press. I feel the spin could've been implemented with a double press of space, leaving normal left click to launch. It's literally just one key, but my poor brain fought it the first half of the levels for some reason
• Pressing "e" again should fast finish the text. I spent a while waiting for the dialogue to finish
• This game was murderous with a trackpad hahaha. Took me like 8 minutes.

Okay! Now that the small stuff is out of the way, I gotta say, I was a big fan of this. Which is saying something because I'm not the biggest fan of platformers. I thought the theme/narrative was SO FUN, and the levels weren't too difficult at all! When I saw a "Celeste"-like, I thought I was going to rage quit. But no, it was very enjoyable. Even with my lack of mouse.

I hope this game does well in this jam. It's very well made. Thanks for making a platformer I actually enjoyed. :)

This game is FUNNY. Seriously great job (pun intended) on the writing and visual humor.

The tutorial introduced a bunch of mechanics in a row which was a little bit too much for me. 
However seeing as the rest of the game is meant to be a speedrun I understand you most likely didn't want the speedrun to be bogged down by a tutorial dialog box. 

Maybe the tutorial could be a little longer? I would've liked a little more space between each new mechanic to let the player get used to them.
 
Some of the text went offscreen. Specifically to the left side of the screen. In case it matters I played full screen on a 1440p monitor.

The art fits the game really well and it's funny to see the IRS logo and job application mixed in with the pixel art. 
It's very clear to see each game element too!

Level difficulty felt like it went a little up and down but I suppose that's good for the pacing.

OH and I found the key bindings annoying. I really wish I could jump with the "W" key instead.
