nah i'd win
lol that was peak cinema if i ever do say so plus sorry for chessing my way trough the entire game i just had to fire my entire gun while moving before the employs could spawn in the map i just had to do that lol
anyway peak game i had a blast playing it good job :)
small note: i forgot about the slow motion mode lol even without it i chessed everything in my way just like how a true souls fan would do after getting good on the normal first play through the fromsoft souls games
haha, noice
Certified masterpiece, enemies show a butt crack when dead. Comedy gold. Love the upgrade mechanic on reload, very creative and satisfying. Nice job!
thanks :P
A truly grueling tale about the crushing life of an office worker. Probably one of the most serious games in the jam. (though the fact you can spam the slo-mo forever make it kinda easy)
thanks, and the point of being able to infinitely spam slow-mo is because it makes you look cool and if that stopped where would the cool factor be?
good point, we rescind our critique
noice :P
At least the boss knows his products work.
Really fun presentation! The voice acting was great and went amazingly with the visual style.
I kinda wish there was more going on mechanically, since the floors started to feel a bit repetitive. Even just increasing the odds of a bad effect when reloading could have been interesting. But I can't really fault the game for it given the time constraint. Otherwise this was great!
thanks, I agree, it does get a bit repeatev at the end, thanks for playing :)
At last, Larry Payne. 🧪 Great art style, I loved flying around in Bullet Time, wreaking vengeance on my questionably-related-to-the-injustice colleagues. I mean, they might seem completely innocent, but they sure are all awfully well-armed. Where are they getting the cold hard cash for all these personal firearms, I ask you? Could it be from their timely received paychecks? I'm telling you they're in ON IT. Larry was right all along!! 💥💥💥
did you see what compony they work for? that's how they got the guns. Thanks for playing :D i loved your game
GREAT GAME!! well done... W Larry !!
thanks :P
this game, especially the visuals, was such a throwback to the old flash games i'd play in primary school! i also really loved how the spinning was incorporated with reloading. the slowdown mechanic was also really cool, although i did find out really quickly that you can just... win by running through all the floors without shooting at anyone.
thanks, im glad you liked it :)
very fun i didnt make it but it was fun
thanks :D
I really love the art including the hand drawn UI and the sprites. Definitely feels kinda weird that the entire level is just a straight line with not a lot of variance. Your basic strategy is just jumping up whenever there is a bullet coming at you while continuously shooting. This also make the reload roulette mechanic feel weaker as you can beat the whole game easily with the base gun and you are mainly just trying not to get the red which makes enemy health higher. Also slow carries over to the reload if you do it before reloading and you could easily time the wheel. I also did a run where I didn't shoot a single enemy just running to skip all 5 stages. Just some thoughts on the game's mechanics.
I definitely could have done better on level variety, thanks for playing :)
I enjoyed filing a complaint according to company procedure and peacefully resolving the issue with my boss :). Had a lot of fun playing. I just sometimes got stuck midair and was a hit a lot because of that. In the final level, I died twice because I got stuck in the crowd and could neither move, nor jump. Other than that, good job!
thanks for playing :) how did you get stuck
I really enjoyed the game. The reload system with buffs and debuffs felt quite addicting and was a nice interpretation of the theme. I also liked the humour of the game.
On floor 2, though, I learned that I could just dodge everyone's bullets and run straight to the next floor, so I might have skipped a few levels after learning that. Overall, a really fun little game. Good job!
thanks, it fine that you skipped them, i made it so that you did not need to kill everyone :)
BEST GAME OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, Larry. Mondays, am I right?
Fun little game - love the reload system! It was easy to understand the controls and to progress, which is great. It's also fun to have an entry with voice acting instead of just sound effects or text on-screen. :D Nice job!
thanks so much :)
I really liked it! The roulette-style reloading mechanic is fun and adds a “Spin to Win” element to the gameplay. It feels very action-packed—a genuinely entertaining game. A bit of personal advice: it might be good to add more enemy types with different behaviors (like enemies that fly and attack)
yeh, did you know that the other enemies have nothing different, i didn't know how to change each one with the spaghetti code base i made
FUN! Especially liked how spinning was used, felt good getting buffs and debuffs while also having some control over the spin instead of being random!
glad you liked that part with the spinning
Hilarious. This game was so much fun.
very cool
great game larry was well in his right. would how make it so you can't make it to the next floor with out killing a certain number of guys because it feels to easy to win with out killing also the health bar resets when showing the tower.
yeh i don't know how to fix that health bar, thanks :)
Funny game with a great story!
The buffs and slo-mo are very satisfying to play with
It could be made even better by adding some platforms or obstacles to the levels to spice things up!
thanks for playing :D
I love it ^^
