I really like the idea, and I can see the YOMI Hustle inspiration lol. I kind of have the same complaint as others with the text being difficult to read, but I could still understand what it said. I like the idea of being able to mix and match your moves - so long as you can't make crazy broken combos. One thing I noticed is that it seems like the jump move can be used every turn so that you can stay in the air forever (one counter to this is the flames since it can hit airborne enemies somehow). Also, it would be nice if you could back in the menu so that you can reset the player selection (the back button also goes away once you get to P2) and maybe an option to increase each player's time. Given some time to work on bugs and solidify the gameplay, I think this could be really fun. Overall, good work. I would really like to see you develop this further.

This is such a good idea!! I agree with the other comments about the UI and text. It was really hard to understand the text, especially with being dyslexic. I think the visuals would also benefit from more contrast. Everything kind of meshes with each other. Maybe alter colors or add outlines? Overall the style and game is really cool and this was a good submission!

This is a really cool idea with a ton of potential. A turn-based Beyblade-style fighting game where both players lock in actions and then watch the fight play out is super creative, and I can definitely see this becoming really fun with more polish. The hit effects and particles were satisfying too, especially when attacks connected.

My main feedback is that the game needs clearer UI and instructions. The font was pretty hard to read, and it was difficult at first to understand what I had selected, how the direction input worked, and what each move would do. It would also help a lot to have CPU/online working, clearer end-of-match feedback, and previews for where actions will send you. Still, this is a very ambitious and unique entry, and I hope you keep working on it!

I wasn't able to play against online or cpu, but it seems like the game is well polished given the art style. Hope you get everything working!

PLEASE finish this, yomi hustle but tops is SUCH a good idea. I know that the idea was too ambitious and you werent able to fully realise it, and as such things like showing the path of what your action will end up doing isnt there, and the replay stuttering, along with other small issues, BUT I WOULD PAY to play something like this. Also, the font is very hard to read, and its hard to tell what option you've locked in, and the direction circle is hard to move around.

I tried it with bot vs cpu but it didn't work but that wasn't a problem , played vs my bro in local

there was a bug as odyDev mentioned and it didn't finish the game by itself after animation but it's ok,

I liked the particle effects when i hit another beyblade with the sharp tip and the slashing particle as well

played 3 more games , it was a bit hard to understand before but now i got it

the idea actually isn't bad but maybe time wasn't by your side , very sad , tho i liked the idea

Pretty good game, i tried it with my brother, the only negative i have to say is taht there was a bug and after one iof us won, nothing happened , so we were confused, like the remaning blayblade just kept spinning around the placemlas tthing, the font is too much, it was quite hard to read, the game was fun and enjoyable tho

Developer

Thanks for playing, I'm sorry you got a bug, did the game not replay your fight as an animation? There was a bug where the game just kept playing after the animation I thought I fixed but that mustn't have fixed it.

It’s like Toribash for beyblades. I really love it. The text is nearly illegible though.

Developer

Thanks, and yeah I messed up bigtime on the text.

I love the idea of creating your own Beyblade to play in turn-based fights! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get much further than there. Since player vs CPU doesn't work, I tried a round against myself, but I couldn't fully figure out how to play, in part because the text is really hard to read. With more clear instruction on how to play, I'd love to try it again!

Developer

Yes, sure. The buttons are your available moves, you have dash, bullet, slash, fire, jump and two others but I didn't finish them. Only the local vs works because I over scoped :D You click the red stick on the purple circle to control the Directional Input wich determines the direction of the bullet, slash and dash. Bullet slash and jump are the three movement options +jump. The game is a simultaneous turn based game so player 1 and 2 both take turns at the same time. Once the game is finished, all your turns compile and make an animation of your Beyblade fight. Sorry again for the missing modes and illegible text, I struggled with fitting it in properly.
