A great game idea! Akin to what the other comments mentioned, it would be beneficial to have the enemies spawn in different locations and/or to make the player more involved after they find a way to orient the blocks to prevent enemies from getting to the end.

I need to agree with a lot of the other Comments here. The Concept is really good! It has a lot of Potential!

But it definitly needs some adjusting for the Difficulty. Right now I build a Path at the Beginning, that I never needed to change. So it turned quite Boring after a while, because I didn't need to do anything.

Maybe you can make some updates after the Jam, because I really want to see how this would look with more time to make it!

As the other commenters have said this is a brilliant idea and I think with a bit of polish and even more love this could be an amazing game. Perhaps even a commercial game! Aside from obvious polish matters I wish there was more of an incentive to spin the tiles, perhaps something like the enemies spawn from a different spot than usual so instead of your perfectly curated path you now have to spin a bunch to make it so they dont just rush your end tower.

This needs a lot of balance tweaking and UI polishing, but I do love the idea of creating your own tower defense monster path line by changing the tiles. Very cool thing that you managed to make it work in that short time except for a few bugs. This could become the base of very addictive gameplay  :)

I like the ideia a lot. I needs a little tweak, but it has potential. With just a little bit more of polish and fix to the use cases were the game breaks and this could be really a great game. But still, nice work, it right on the theme and it has nice visuals and a creative gameplay!

Like others have said, it's very easy to break the game by rotating the tiles near the start. Also with just three towers it seemed like I would be able to survive the game indefinitely. It seemed like there was little reason to even engage with the rotate mechanic. A couple other features I think are needed

1. Some information about what each tower does before you buy

2. Being able to see the range of the tower before you place it

I was locked in the first try... Rotating the cell that contains the end point, the skeleton cannot move.

The idea is interesting. Good work.

If you fix that the player cannot start a round with the start and end disconnected and make more clear which point is the start and which one is the end point, it will improve a lot the gameplay.

Love the idea, the visuals are cute, I think it has a lot of potential! I know its a demo for the jam but you can bug the game very easily tho by rotating some of the first tiles and breaking the path to the end. Maybe start with a smaller arena or give the player just a copuple of tiles to rotate before giving them access to all the tiles on the map. But I had fun eitherway, Well done :) !

this gimmick did remind me of bloons td 6 which i thought i should add

the enemy movement system is kind of bugged, esp if you leave no path for the enemy

i think this concept is unique but being able to rotate every tile might be a nightmare for balancing, and there's not that much incentive to change the tiles once we do get a solid defense down

so i think if you could guarantee an enemy path for every combination but add an incentive to switch up tiles then the concept could benefit a lot from that

Tower defense with a dedicated spin phase for setup is a neat structural idea.

Nice work!

Game bugs if we don't leave trail for enemies. Not much to do in spin phase since coins are so limited and we're unlikely to change map after putting down towers. A rebalance between the 2 towers and the enemies might be good. Very cool for 7 days though!
