Ok so this one had really fun Smash Bros vibes. Wish I had friends to play this with. The bot is kinda goofy because it just tries to follow the player. Not very smart, literally a birdbrain. For instance sometimes I could get into a funny position where I'm on top of its head and it keeps jumping. Then I'd slowly move to the edge and make it fall while it's unable to fight back. Other than the bot being kinda dumb, you did a good job! Wish we had more mechanics than just moving though (maybe an ULT?) but what you already have there is solid.

Thank you! :))

The camera panning in and out feels quite nice. Really liked the idea.

Took me some time to beat the bot.

Nice! Wish I had some friends to play with :(

All kidding aside, nicely done. Would love to see you push this further!

Had flashbacks of playing Flash vs. games with classmates in the computer room. 10 sumo ducks out of 10 spins.

Developer

Really happy to hear that, since that's actually the vibe we intended to go for! ...and playing with classmates in the computer room was... one of my intentions with this game.

i really liked the game, was addicting, and when you manage to win against bot, you become very happy :D

Loved playing SSB growing up and this is like a mix of that and bayblades. Super cool idea and name! I think the bot is a bit overtuned but I managed to knock him out of the ring by dodging out of the way. Great work!

Developer

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! Thanks! :D

Difficult controls but the game itself runs really smooth and responsive. Hit sounds are nicely implemented.

I would've loved some sort of difficulty setting since this felt extremely fast for me. I couldn't figure out how to gain momentum to push my opponent out because he was on top of me constantly. I lost 10 out of 10 games! T.T

But concept is good, art is nice and theme is spot on! :D Hopefully someone else will know that bot-bird to oblivion for me. :D

Good to know, thanks for the feedback!

This is a really good game and well made. only thing is, with all the camera shaking and zooming it can be easy to loose track of your player. Other than that, well done!

Thanks for the feedback! :D

This is a good game and I'd like to see more from it.

I'd love to see more controls than just moving, jumping and turning into a beyblade (birdblade? beybird?). Maybe some kind of dash you can use to ram into the enemy or dodge, or a double jump?

In terms of issues I had with the game, the camera zooming out feels a bit jarring - especially when repeatedly ramming into and getting knocked back by the enemy.

Also, the bot sometimes just walks off the map when the match starts? I don't know what causes it. Doesn't seem like that big of an issue though since rematches are quick enough.
