Pretty fun! I liked your stylings and the enemy player photos. I didn't read the page instructions closely enough, and it took me a minute to realize how to get started.

Lovely game, lots of style to it. The CRT filter made it hard to read some text, but i could still tell what they were saying based off of the images. Even though it's a gambling game, I never felt like I was betrayed by the RNG, the game manages to give the player enough capabilities to handle most situations.
Thank you for playing!!! We had a hard time trying to make some balance to the game and tried many approaches. In the end we found one that makes it feel difficult but also fair. We didn't want a game that if you are good you will win 100% of the time, so if you are unlucky you can also get destroyed :P
Such a cozy game. I enjoyed playing it for some time. For a jam, it looks incredibly polished, but there’s one small detail: the hit/defeat SFX is a bit too loud compared to the rest of the sounds (and the music). I’m playing it on (decent) desktop speakers, though, might be different with headphones
Edit: I would play this for real, ngl. This deserves an official launch
Thank you soooo much. We were thinking of making an update after the GameJam made some polishing and also the SFX issue that you have mentioned. I have to say that we didn't test the game with speakers, but now that you say it, we will also see to make it appealing. Hope you had a blast playing it!!! <3
I was confused at first but once I got it, I didn't want to stop, and the enemies are very fun :) Awesome work!
I liked it very much!! I found it bit confusing at first, but when i understood the concept i enjoyed it very much!! Really great job!!
This is definitely one of the games that I would play outside of the jam as well. Had so much fun playing. The animations on the cards are so good, really nothing to complain about.
One little bug though is when I set all my pins and selected the enemy, then I opened my case on the left and closed and the spin sound was going on as if the roulette was spinning but it was continuous without stopping until I opened the case and closed again. It's a minor thing of course and didn't affect on anything.
Great job!
It means a lot to me to hear that you enjoyed our game that much!!!
To be honest with you, we had such a blast while making this game and we really appreciate that you can also enjoy and feel our touch while playing the game. About the bug I have to say that I didn't even consider that scenario, so if we make an update we will look after that. Thank you so much for playing our game <3
I absolutely loved the aesthetics and the core concept of the game! It took me a little while to figure out the mechanics, so maybe adding a quick tutorial image would help new players understand that they need to drag the pins to the roulette, choose an enemy, and then spin. Aside from that, I had a lot of fun with it! Congratulations on the great work!
Thank you so much for the feedback! We were thinking of kind of a "tutorial" at the start, to let the players know how to play at first, but we didn't know exactly how to make it, but I understand that at first it can be a bit confusing. I really enjoy that you had fun with it and thanks for playing it ^^.
Thank you so much for playing the game and giving feedback. We included a tutorial screenshot to provide some context, but we know we should have included an in-game tutorial or several more screenshots. We weren't sure how to approach that, but perhaps we can add something in the future. Thanks for playing!
Cool idea! I wish the roulette could be instantly spun, or just go faster at least, and for the crt effect to be disabled as its very hard to read for me. Also the fact I can spin the wheel with no pins attached has caused me to lose so much health over the course of a bunch of fights. And more wacky pins and wheel upgrades would be cool, like maybe prime numbers dealing more damage, or other math related wackiness :)
Thank you for playing the game and giving us feedback. We are aware of the bug where the wheel can be spun without pins inserted. Regarding improvements, yes, we were thinking of some crazy upgrades for the roulette by playing with the number types, but we didn't have time to implement all the ideas we had.
The visuals and audio are very nice, especially together with the CRT effect. The game is very polished overall and it feels a lot like Slay the Spire, which I really like!
I got to somewhere around round 12 or 13, where I got annihilated by Catarina and another guy who dealt 80 percent of my max health.
Very good entry, probably my favorite so far, and insanely good for your first game jam :D
Thank you so much, I really put lots of effort into the music and SFX, I really like making music and always try to express the mood of the games/songs.
We need to say that Slay the Spire is an inspiration for me and Yagocator, and we take it as a reference to create the roguelike, so thank you for noticing!
Thank you so much for your feedback <3
PD: Catarina is the best
Thanks for playing! Since we're not great artists, we thought about a way to avoid doing a lot of artwork while still fitting the game's aesthetic. We both came to the conclusion that taking photos of ourselves and setting them to low quality would be a good way to solve the problem. I'm glad you liked it.
Besides, we both had a good laugh looking at the photos we each took.
I am a firm believer that Jaime is naught but a lab engineered humanoid, firmly, I do not even believe that Jaime is a human at all, and is actually a sentient alien. The stuff this individual performed on me is beyond criminal.

But as a professional Enjoyer Of The Hobby, I have decided to call it quits after 10 rounds. I take my winnings today, and plan to return tomorrow for more.
But in all seriousness, it is simple, but very fun. It had me very much addicted, I found the Bar to be the most powerful option throughout my run, as the multiplies are a lot better than what the mafia offers, though I believe extra health is needed for later rounds.
Only complaint I have is: Why am I allowed to spin the wheel while not having all 3 pins placed. It's not a game breaking issue, but it encouraged me to try and save my pins by using only one, just to find out that all of the unused pins get cycled, but that is mostly just a nitpick.
Overall GREAT, I enjoyed this experience!!
I also think that Jaime has a backstory as a lab experiment, I don't trust his look in the eyes.
We thought about just discarding the played pins on the roulette but we thought that it could be exploited easily (idk how but we thought about it), but maybe it would be a good idea to deactivated the roulette spin if you don't play all the pins, thanks for the feedback <3
This game is pretty enjoyable and highly recommended for strategic gamblers. I got to level 7 wieee. The visual and music are great. Using your faces for the enemies is really cute and funny. The graphics is very unique as it really gives an inside the television vibes. It's very creative and adheres to the theme. I could see that we could employ some safe strategy like distribute the pins for safe playstyle, or go all in by making them adjacent to each other.
The only thing that I think affected the enjoyability of the game is, first, the bug where you can still spin the wheel while your enemy is still attacking. It happens often that I spin the wheel without pins attached therefore giving the entire turn to my enemy. Second, I think the gameplay is too long like each level would take a very long time to finish. Unless someone has hit a jackpot or has two red pins, it would go on for like forever I think. I've noticed that my defense could be stacked until thousand which is a concern on the balance of the game. But for now, I think a speed up button would be a good addition to the game as the spin animation is too long for me.
Overall, with a little more tweak, I would totally download this game and recommend it to others. And, this as your very first game jam, I'm really amazed with your output. Congratulations!
