Congrats! And thanks for playing until the end ❤️

I feel like I saw a comment of yours on every game I had the opportunity to try. Have you done them all ?

Submitted(+1)

Almost, I didn't play some of the download only bc I fear viruses lol. I usually try to play every game bc I want to see what y'all are cooking and hopefully give some useful feedback :)

amazing game! a point and click adventure in a jam this size?? genuinely did not expect that and it was a pleasant surprise goddamit

the hand drawn art is lovely, easily one of the best looking entries ive seen. the puzzles kept me engaged even if i got stuck a few times and had to peek at the walkthrough lol. some clearer visual cues for interactable objects would go a long way, but honestly thats a small complaint for something this ambitious

great job to the whole team, seriously!

and if you have a sec wed love for you to check out our game too :)

Thanks for all your kind words ! Yes changing cursor based on what can be interacted with, making it more obvious what can be pressed on by the drawings are things we should have done in retrospect. Also making the enigmas more logical. All things we'll apply if we ever make a second point&click.

And yes I've given a first look at your game yesterday but  I want to finish it before leaving a review. It seems very interesting so far !

Great game! I love puzzle games, so I gladly played to the end. The art is adorable and the use of the theme is very creative. My favorite game so far, no doubt at all :D

Developer

Thanks a lot! ❤️

It was a cute drawing quest, but some of the solutions weren't entirely obvious to me, so I just had to poke at random, like throwing a record player in a mirror or when some things disappeared from the inventory and others stayed with me until the end, like glasses or a screwdriver. The quest is interesting, but some mechanics just confuse

Developer

Thanks for the review ! And I have to agree with you, many of the enigmas aren't logical. Lacking experience making such games we had to change some of the steps along the way, resulting in some controversial choices. A walkthrough was published in a post alongside the game tohugh. If you're stuck you can use it to get to the next step.

very cute artstyle. i got stuck tho not knowing what to do

Developer

Thanks ! Where are you stuck at ?

Submitted

i had the 2 glasses, the branch, the music thing, and some other stuff

Developer

You must combine stone and stick into a hammer... to break some glass in the first room.

Submitted

oooohhhh damn ill retry later then

Just published a walkthrough for if you're stuck!

Few jam games in the jam have kept me hooked as long as this one. The art style is beautiful.

I struggled a bit with the invisible walls and some of the puzzles (skill issue, lol), but I'm going to keep trying. Great job! :D

Developer

Wow thanks for the review, very heartwarming !

Not sure which invisible wall you mean ? Are you having trouble going somewhere ? And I agree that many things could be clearer in how they work. If you're stuck, feel free to ask for a solution.

Developer

Just published a walkthrough if you're struggling to progress.

Seems like a very nice game, the artstyle is very cool and progressing feels very satisfying. Unofrtunately tho I got stuck after picking up the stick from the tree.

Anyway I see from the screenshots that there are more rooms so good job to all of your team :)

Developer

Thanks ! Glad you liked it !

Look down for spoiler on how to go past that part:

You have to combine the stone and the stick to get the hammer, which can help you break something.

Submitted

Oh... I think I bugged the game then because at one point I lost the stick lol.
Thanks I'll try to continue later :)

Developer

Damn ! I thought I had gotten rid of all of those. I'll try to find how the stick could have disappeared.

I can maybe give you a lead, If I remember correctly I was in the room with the feathers and I clicked somewhere on the right side.

Developer(+1)

Thanks, found the bug. I had forgotten to remove the debug interactions of the shelf hahah. I can't seem to push the update as the jam is still running unfortunately.

I kind of wish some things were just more clear. It's not obvious what is interactable and what isn't. A separate cursor icon when hovering to identify these items would probably help substantially in figuring out what is background/environment and what is interactable or eventually interactable. All of my progress was through luck and clicking randomly until something happened because I just didn't know what I could even do.

In a kind of similar vein, it took me a while to realize I was supposed to click & drag from the hotbar to use the items I had been collecting.

Developer

Totally agree with you! There was supposed to be a different cursor but I sort of forgot along the way. Didn't realize the use of the hotbar wasn't clear, thanks for the report and having played.

Developer

I hope you'll have as much fun as we did making it!
