Amazing entry! Visually stunning and very creative game loop to fit the spin to win category perfectly!
I noticed one small bug while sprinting to the stations that I have experienced before myself. If you are sprinting the footstep sound effects continue after you enter the interaction with the station. Idk if it's the proper solution but my solution was to just add a stop sounds call to the blueprint interface and stopped sounds on my player character from that call when I opened interactions.
Thank you for your review !!! :D
Yea you right, a stop sound should fix the problem ! Thanks for reporting this bug ! :)
Wow awesome concept! I could see this being a really cool multiplayer coop similar to sea of Thieves
Thank you :D !
And yea that could be a good idea to setup the game for multiplayer !
It’s a beautiful game with an interesting concept, but I wasn't ready to replay it from the very beginning.
Having checkpoints would have been nice. It would have been even better if the encounters were varied and randomized, rather than the same thing every time.
And if they added a progression or upgrade system... well, that would be like asking for a different game entirely. :)
A lot of work was done in a short time - that’s awesome! And the result turned out completely different from the other games in the jam.
Thank you for your review !
We didn’t want to add checkpoints because the game only lasted 10 minutes, so it would be too easy if there was a checkpoint at each stage reached.
We already have a similar opinion to the one you have about creating the game in the rogue style and honestly, it’s a great idea. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to do it during the jam and there aren’t many varied events in the game. But yes, with an upgrade system after each game and the addition of random elements in the game, it would be very fun and replayable :D
Thanks again for playing our game and having fun 😁!
Wow such a professional game! unfortunately i got bugged out by the menus a bit :(
Thank you :) !!
Ah, did you get stuck on the pause menu or the main menu ?
The pause menu, once i opened and closed the settings, i couldn't get back into the game.
Hmm strange, we probably forget to set the focus to the game :/, but okay thank you for the review 👍
Oh I was BAD at this ! But I still had a very fun time, it was super pretty, and the music went Hard, overall very different from the other games I've been playing so far, and that's always exciting. Great job ! My only note is that during the tutorial the text moved on without any input (I'm pretty sure), and as a slow reader I was left with half the information a few times. I would have also have loved if each station had had some kind of pointer as it was presented in the tutorial. I guess some fine tuning of the tutorial is what I'm getting at. But again, dope game!
Oh and thank you for including azerty controls in the options, really nice :)
Thanks for your feedback :) ! Yes, the tutorials are quite quick at the moment, we should have slowed them down a little more.
And you're welcome for the azerty controls, we were mostly French in the group xD.
No problem !
Oh we're french too :D
Oh trop cool :D
I had a lot of fun playing this, managing everything and making sure to run back to reload added to the stress of the game in a good way. Also a fun, creative way to bring in the spinning with all the different ways to take care of the ship. The one pointer I could give would be for there to be a more obvious queue when there's a fire, sometimes I missed it because I wasn't running around checking (but then again that might be the point). Good job!
Thank you !!!!!
Great visuals, audio and atmosphere! Turbine flying ships give it a unique look and feel! Some mechanics could use a bit of work but overall its a very impressive and ambitious game to make in a week!
Thank you so much !!! :D
Perfect visuals and audio. The gameplay could use some more work, like gunplay - more shots per mag but higher firerate, weakpoints on targets, etc. Driving stage would benefit from at least a second variation of dark clouds. But I was having enough fun to give enjoyment 4/5 and to get to the end of the game. Very appreciated tutorial at the start!
Hey! Thank you very much for your feedback :) !
For the driving phase with the clouds I only had time to do one phase due to lack of time and I agree with you that more variations would have been needed !
For the firearm I understand that it would have been more interesting to shoot more often without having to constantly reload !
I'm very glad you had a good time playing the game :D !
The art is wonderful, I can see how much work was put into this. I like the feel of running a one person ship, dashing between different stations to attend to different needs. The lighting and atmosphere are great, it was so cool to fly into a storm and have to rush to repair my ship. I think it would help to be a bit more clear during the tutorial as to which part of the ship I'm learning about, there were a couple of times where I wasn't sure which station to use. Really great effort overall.
Thank you very much for your feedback :) !
For the tutorial I see what you mean, as we did towards the end we don't really have time to have it tested to make it more clear and understandable.
Very happy that you liked the game anyway :D
i think this is so beautiful!!! i absolutely love the graphics and the gameplay. wish my crappy laptop could handle the graphics, but it cant so it was kinda laggy. i cant believe this was made within a week omg
beautiful 10/10 hope you guys win!!!
Thanks a lot !!!!! It really makes me happy that you say that :) !
It's true that Unreal Engine 5 is quite demanding as a base, so it's not easy to run on computers that aren't very powerful :/
I hope you had fun anyway :D
Loved the atmosphere and feeling of the game. Definitely a little ambitious for a game jam but I think it plays very well.
I wish the “spinning” mechanics shared some more functionality between the different stations as it was a little disorienting hopping between different spinning mechanics.
Overall its pretty fun and really pleasing to play
Oh ,what would you have thought of to make the spinning mechanic more interesting ?
In any case, it makes me very happy that you had fun playing our game :) Thank you for your feedback :D !
This one felt really good to play - it still had that game jam feel to it, but it was really smooth all things considered. The controls of the aircraft felt a bit funky and clunky, but the overall premise and feel were really solid.
Music slapped, though it did kind of kick in very suddenly a lot of the time - but the visual effects and sound of the main gun made it all feel really, really polished. My only critique of the combat loop is the recharging of the gun - having to go take a moment mid action to spam a bunch of keys really took me out of the flow, especially when you only get two shots per recharge, and all the enemies seemed to need two shots to take down.
Sailing through the skies and through stormy clouds felt awesome though. I really liked this game, despite it's quirks. I can see a fully-fledged version of this as a roguelike or adventure game, about sailing between distant ports, fighting off sky pirates and navigating the solar seas,
Thank you very much for your feedback:), I really like the idea of aroguelike game since everything is already generated in the sky!
It's true that the fire reload is quite long, we thought about killing the enemies in one hit to make it more fluid and satisfying but we didn't have time to test it and set it up.
For the actions in the ship we wanted to test lots of different things around the theme but I understand that some are a little weird xD.
As an Unreal game enthusiast, I wanted to share a few thoughts. Please don’t take this as aggressive or ill-intentioned feedback.
Sometimes, especially with limited development time, it’s better to focus on one strong core mechanic. When too many mechanics are built around the same idea, the experience can become a bit confusing.
The visual style is good, but I think it could become much stronger with a few adjustments, such as better post-processing, outlines, a more intentional art direction like steampunk, and UI that matches the chosen style more closely.
My only intention is to help your future projects become even better. Sorry if this came across a bit harsh.
Hey !
I find your feedback very constructive, so don't worry—this kind of input is exactly what helps us improve :).
I agree that we probably aimed a bit too high for the jam (especially since the developer and game designer could only work on weekends and weekday evenings xD).
I also understand that focusing on a single mechanic and polishing it to the max would have been the better choice, but we wanted to aim for an *Overcooked*-style experience where you have to juggle multiple tasks.
Regarding the visual style, I totally agree with you—some good post-processing and outlines would definitely improve gameplay visibility :)
As for the UI, due to time constraints, we didn't manage to replace the default Unreal interface with our own custom designs to match the Steampunk style.
Thanks again for the feedback ! We'll do better next time 💪
Hey I really enjoyed the visuals and the piloting the ship was pretty stressful. Some feedback though, I couldn't see a thing at one point because of the fog when other ships were attacking, so that was pretty frustrating. Otherwise, I'm exited to see what you guys produce next!
Hey !
Glad you had a great time playing the game :D ! And yes you are right, at certain times if you are in a cloud and you are attacked it is difficult to see the enemies attack you:/, I think that an outline around the planes or an occlusion effect could solve the problem !
Thank you very much for your feedback in any case and we will probably see you for the GMTK game Jam 2026 if you ever participate too :)
