I'm amazed at how many levels you've included! I finished the game and I liked the smiley face at the end but I did have to use brute force to get the answer a few times (just randomly shifting the blocks until it worked lol) cause this was genuinely hard!! But so so fun so I had to brag about actually beating every level. As you've mentioned on other comments, 6 is weirdly hard for when it appears, but besides that, I'd say the levels do generally get harder as you progress. Fantastic job, very addicting. (Also the block collision noise was sooo satisfying)

Thanks for the really positive review and happy to hear you were able to beat all levels! Also I just realised that when simply moving the blocks around there is no noise when there was supposed to be a slight thud but for some reason I can't hear it when I'm sure I had put it in the game, did you mean the level completition by "block collision"?

Also I'm aware of this brute forcing method to solve the puzzles, didn't really know how to fix the issue but whatever, it's not too big of an issue I thought of maybe adding a limited amount of wheel spins but I wasn't sure about that.

Yeah I can hear a slight thud every time the blocks collide with a wall! (I'd consider the level completion noise more of a bell jingling sound but it's good too!) Level 20 is a great example of the thud sound effect because if a move causes the red barriers to open and if there are blocks up against that wall, they fall through and land at a slightly different time than the initial thud from that same key press. Created some really nice pitter-pattering in my opinion! Anyways the sound is definitely coming from your game so I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to hear it?

Also yeah I don't think you need to do anything to prevent brute forcing, it's just another way to play! Didn't make it any less fun for me cause I would still end up having to slow down and think about it if I felt like I was caught in a loop of no progression lol. Limited spins would honestly make me less motivated to push through, I think.

I hear it now, for some reason I couldn't yesterday, also glad you liked that sound, made it by knocking on my desk lol.

Pretty fun puzzle game! I don't think I got through all the levels but there are quite a bit. I'm impressed you thought of all of these! Some kind of ambient background sound would be nice, but apart from that it's very enjoyable!

Developer

Thanks for the positive review! There were in total 21 levels, and tbh I just made them without too much though, placed random blocks, messed around with movable blocks until I saw a cool enough position the gold blocks could end up and put the goals there, and for my next game I'll probably add some more audio, didn't really have time to think of that also not my strong suit.

Great game, really fun mechanics. A real brain cruncher. Overall really enjoyed it!

Great game! Keep it up!❤︎

Developer

Thanks for the positive review! If you don't mind answering did you get stuck on a level or were able to complete all 21?

I like the idea of moving with gravity :) I also couldn't do level 6 I tried for a while, I feel like it might not be possible? or at least you need to restart after making a mistake. Would be interesting to see some more gravity based mechanics in this like sliding wall panels etc. Lots of potential!! :)

Thanks for the positive review! Also level 6 is possible but you can easily soft lock yourself, didn't really get to make it play to other people before publishing and you're the 2nd person to say they didn't pass level 6, might've put it too early, if you wanna check out the other levels you can press "P" to go to the next level and "O" to go to the previous one, said this in the desc but not in the actual game tutorial.

Really fun! i did get stuck on level 6, but i enjoyed playing it.

Developer

Glad you enjoyed my game! Level 6 probably should've been put a bit later looking at its difficulty, you can easily softlock yourself also.  If you wanna check out the other levels as I wrote in the desc but didn't say in game tutorial you can press "P" to go to next level and "O" to go to previous level
