This games is...
Amazing!!!! ( And it is better than mine!!! )
Good job for making this game jam for one week!!! :D
peak
I spun
And so did I! thank you for the review!!
This was pretty fun! I got a lot of enjoyment out of spinning the gunners, wish you could spin the tank. next time
Yeah I might implement that! I didnt want to at first because it looks a little too silly spinning it, but maaaybe since a lot of people want it. Thanks for playing and reviewing!
"He's too good at spinning, call the cops!"
Some games, you play them and they have that "it" factor. I had so much fun playing this and I think the whole package is more than the sum of its parts!
I laughed a few times from the intro, the opening initial spin, and when the progression starts. Seriously well done
Thank you so so much! I really appreciate the nice words, means a lot! "It factor" is probably the nicest compliment I've gotten haha. Thanks for the review!
It's a great game.
Very original story and voice acting. The game is also very fun. I surprised when I was able to grab bullets. Also the alternative effects that have the military.
Nice work
Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you noticed you could grab bullets, not everyone did that! Thanks for the nice review as well!
This is easily one of my favorite games from the jam! I absolutely loved the cutscenes, the visuals, the concept, and the story. Everything came together so well, and it kept me engaged from start to finish. It has so much personality and was a blast to play. Fantastic work!
Really?? That means a lot, thank you so much! Thank you for playing and for the supernice review!
Wow! Seriously great storytelling. And even with voice acting! Amazing use of the theme(s).
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked the story and voice acting! Thanks for the nice review!
This game is genius! When I thought it cannot get further, it always surprised me once more :D:D It's amazing, well done!
Aw thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it!!
Do you wanna know how I got these scars? My father was a spinner... and a FIEND! And one night, he goes off crazier than usual. Mommy gets thhe kitchen knife to defend herself. He doesn't like that. Not... One... Bit.... so, me watching, he starts spinning her around the room, laughing while he does it. He turns to me several times, and he says, "WhY sO sErIoUs?!" He flings mommy with the blade at my mouth - "Let's put a SMILE on that face!" And... why so serious?
Oh yeah also good job with the game! Very funny, and fun!
Thank you The Spinner for playing it on stream and giving such a nice and thoughout review!
This game is great. Loved the cutscenes, dialogue, and gameplay. It all came together really well. The different interactions were fun to play with too, like picking up a cop with a gun and using him to shoot everyone else. The only thing is I feel the throwing mechanic should take into account the spinning momentum, it seems to just release in the direction they are facing which feels a bit weird. This was really fun, nice job!
First of all, thank you so much for the nice words and I'm glad you liked so many parts of the game, makes me very happy! The thought about making the throw more accurate did cross my mind, but my programming skills aren't thaaat good so it would take quite some time to fix, so I prioritized other things for now, but you are 100% right, it would be nice if it moved with the direction you moved better. Thanks for taking the time to play and thanks for the feedback!
The hit visual feedback is awesome! And really loved that intro scene too.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked both the intro and visual feedback! Thanks for reviewing!
Thanks for making my hobby into a game :)
First you beat up the kids toys....then you throw the kids....No but thank you for playing and reviewing haha
What an amazing game. The kid throwing physics were surprisingly realistic.
Haha, should I be worried how you know that the kid-throwing is realistic? I'm glad you liked the game and thanks for reviewing it!
Oh, don't worry, that's just the experience you get from growing up with younger siblings.
Amazingly silly. This game made me giggle more than once, which does not happen often when I play games, so kudos for that! Also, the hands are just sooo funny... Great work!
Thank you so much for the nice words, and it's an honor having made you smile haha. I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for leaving such a nice review!
Okay dude. I laughed through all playthrough. Did it just once (3k4 and some for my high score), and was a little bit disappointed to be restricted to not grab tanks, but was reaaaly fun. Thanks fo this memorable experience!
Thank you for playing and it makes me very happy that it made you laugh! I never intended the tanks to be grabbable, and therefore never playtested that, but apparently I must have forgotten some snippet of code because now the game crashes if you try to do it. You can still explode them by deflecting or grabbing their bullets tho! Thank you for leaving such a nice review!
Very good game. Got a nice laugh out of me. The realistic hands with the pixel art hits just right.
Haha thank you! I was like "HOW do I make the hands look good? Oh well, I'll just slap a photo of mine in there" and it turned out surprisingly well! Thanks for playing and reviewing!
This is neat! Very impressive you made a whole story!
Haha I did! I'm glad you played the whole thing and thanks for reviewing!
Phenomal game. Swinging children at terminal velocity is now my new past time. Fantastic intro too.
Hahaha, I would recommend keeping that past time activity in game and not IRL. Thank you for such nice words, makes me very happy!
This was honestly a really fun game, and your implementation of spinning is just peak. I love the art you made for this too. Nice job! I hope you had fun making this game too! Unfortunately, it's just way to serious for me to play... :)
I did have a lot of fun making it! Making it work in browser was what messed me up in the end :/ Gonna have to fix that after the jam. Thank you for the nice words and it means a lot to me that you liked both the mechanics AND the graphics haha. I'm assuming you had someone else play the game for you since it was too serious? That's very understandable, not everyone can handle it.... Thank you for the review!
