The visuals and atmosphere are really good, definitely kept me tense. The audio when you spin the valves was a bit buggy though.

Visuals were great. Gameplay was fine.

Atmosphere was also pretty good.

I enjoyed leaking some gas :P

Great atmosphere, although it kinda deflates a little bit once you realize nothing is going to happen. Still, really liked the visual design!

Great atmosphere, definitely felt tense throughout. Interacting seemed a little hard to get right sometimes. It would make more sense to me, if you couldn't jump close to a valve, then basically have extra long arm to turn it; and then sometimes have seemingly short arms bc you have to get just the right angle to be able to interact ^^" Anyway, cool idea though!

The visuals were awesome, and the sound design, really good game overall, just wish that there were some scary things happening, i spent the whole game expecting something, and nothing happened lol.

Really good game, and good interpretation of the theme, keep it up!

wish there was more variety to the gameplay. love the visuals

The game was very tense, you definitely nailed the atmosphere and vibe :) moving the wheel was a little clunky but it was functional so it's okay. I would've appreciated a sound for when the door opens so I could stop looking around but maybe that was your intention. I really liked it, I was a little stressed out the whole time so great job !

Visually the game is great. Gameplay on the other hand, was a bit perplexing. I couldn't spin the wheel, continuously and the audio kept glitching out. This really needed to be play tested.

Also, having limits on the wheel would have been nice to let the player know if they are turning in the wrong direction.

  • Spinning the wheel is a bit buggy for sure, will probably update that in the post-jam version.
  • The audio is supposed to be a little weird :) Hopefully you experienced only the intended level of weirdness.
  • Unfortunately we didn’t have time to playtest due to time constraints (we started a bit late).
  • There is no wrong way to turn the wheel! One full rotation in either direction will do.

Thank you for playing and offering valuable feedback <3

Great vibe, but it seems turning the valve does nothing on the web version? I saw some steam, and nothing more. I searched everywhere but it's only an empty room?

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Turning all wheels in a room will open the door to the next room. This has been tested and should work correctly in the web version as well as desktop.

Number of wheels in each room to verify:

Click to reveal spoiler There are 3 wheels in the first room, 4 wheels in the second room, and 3 wheels in the third room.

It has a very atmospheric and spoopy vibe. Spinning the wheel depending on the angle you're starting to interact can be a bit  clunky but other than that, no notes. Wish it would've been a bit longer or be in danger in a way. Good job!

I like the visual style of the game a lot though I feel like the gameplay could've been expanded upon, I was fully expecting a jumpscare with how dark the game is.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! We considered adding a jumpscare, but didn’t have time to implement it (and didn’t want to cheapen the experience!)

I like the aesthetics of the game, though the gameplay is very confusing.

Developer

Thanks! Anything in particular you found confusing about the gameplay?
