Honestly a really nice game. 2 pieces of feedback: it's kind of annoying that the platforms go back to their default state after every shot + it felt kind of easy, but that's just me probably. All in all: fun mechanic, cute visuals, plenty of levels. Good work!

I liked this way more then I thought I would.

Just add a bounces counter so people get a "par" to beat on each level and then make more levels! ^_^

Really like this! The whole idea is pretty well executed, and the gameplay feels smooth and really solid. The difficulty of the levels are pretty well balanced, (apart from whatever that final level was lol). The only slight tweak I would make would be to stop the platforms resetting themselves after each attempt, but even so still a great game!

This is actually great for a first game. I love physics puzzles because you can sometimes solve them with juuuuust the right positioning. This is true for some of the levels, where I had to make minimal to no moves to win. But the game mechanic is solid. I can easily see this being expanded to include more types of platforms. The music can be repetitive, but I appreciate the effort of making your own instead of grabbing a free one online. Good job!

A full varsion with improvment and more levels is in work

I personaly dislike physics based puzzle games as they can feel unfair and frusturating but this game actually felt very good, it cpuld use a few more levels and a bit more juice, such as particles and screen shake. But overall very fun and also a bit hard, but it felt more like a skill issue then a game issue.

Feel free to check my game out too!

Really enjoyed the puzzle like nature of the game it feels like something I would play on cool math after getting done with school work

Developer

folow my profile to not miss the full release!

I really like the simplicity of this game, and how easy it was to pick up! It's awesome when puzzle games can have flexibility with their solutions, and this is definitely a good example of that [:

I also really like how you can rotate the platforms while the bat is moving, so you can tweak them on the go! I bet that can create some really cool situations (and skill expression!), at least by making it clear that it is possible :b

Great job with this game, I really enjoyed playing through it!

Developer(+1)

I didn't manage to create a level to figure out that you can rotate while the run is ongoing do to a short time period : ).

Really nice puzzle design with simple mechanics! Definitely see potential for even more fun and interesting levels

I have planed to creat a full version of the game on itch.

 Free to play soon!

I noticed that on some levels, the player can shoot and complete the level without tinkering with the platforms. I don’t know if that’s by design, because I would pre-emptively start the level just to see where the bat goes.

Great job on the game, you spaghetti coder! 🦇

Developer

I thougt no one will notice it.  :)

A good game overall! You got your tools first then made the levels, and this will take you far in game development, since it's the most common path for puzzles or platformers, but generally this logic is essential for scalability!

I second what TheMageRealm said, check that you can move the platforms even after hitting start. Do what you think you should do with that information, be preventing it while the bat is in play, or allow it and make puzzles around it.

I wish it had more "seriousness" on it, but I already like t he game for what it is.

You got your tools first then made the levels. How did you find this out?

Moving the platforms even after pressing Start is a design decision I made,

but with the time limit I didn't create any level where you have to figure that out.

Congrats on submitting your first game! I love the bat and its idle animation, it's so cute! I also noticed that you can still spin the platforms after you hit play. I'm not sure if this is intentional or a bug, so I thought I'd mention it. Great job!

Submitted

I noticed that too! It could add to some gameplay situations like the bat bouncing into a platform and two or three bounces later using that same platform for another angle or something! But, to me it seems not intentional

Developer(+1)

This is intentional. : )

Developer(+1)

This was a design decision i made doing play testing.

Thank you for mentioning it!

I don't know exactly what I was expecting the sound for blasting a bat out of a cannon to be exactly but I was definitely surprised (in a good way) by how much OOMPH there was.

Good work!  I played and beat all the levels but the last stage 2 level, I like how there can be multiple solutions to win a level

P.S. This guy my opp now
