Rated!

it’s a really good turn-based RPG.  it’s fun stocking stars and taking out enemies in a single hit or gaining 20 mana or shield in one turn, the music fits the game perfectly and the art style is ideal for what it is

There isn't really much it could do better here, perhaps lower the difficulty slightly, as there’s a somewhat abrupt difficulty spike towards the latter half of the  game

This is one of the best 3D games of the jam, if not the best. The core mechanic is incredibly fun, and the visuals undoubtedly earned those 5 stars, the retro aesthetic works really well with the game. It’s a great touch that it can be played with friends ( unfortunately, I have no friends to play with). I think the music is very well done, especially considering it was all recorded.

It was a really good game for just one week of development.

It's a very good game, although personally it was difficult to play due to my fear of having a job. I found it very entertaining. Including more than one experience minigame was a great decision, since it helps the core mechanic of simply opening cards a lot, preventing it from becoming repetitive too quickly. I found the names of the upgrades and their descriptions pretty funny, the sfx seemed good to me, and the art fits very well with this type of game.

As for some feedback, there is a quite noticeable lack of synchronization between job applications and experience, experience doesn't carry as much relevance as how many applications you have in total, since you always have a lot of experience and few applications. I would strongly recommend lowering how many applications are needed for the upgrades and lowering the amount of experience received.

It reminded me a lot of the Chrome T-Rex game, the sfx were quite funny, although unfortunately there are some references I may not have caught or understood. The gameplay was very entertaining and made me want to reach a high score (my max was 1200), it's a game I would play on my phone when I have free time or no data.

I can't give feedback since, for what it is, it's well executed.

I CAN TELL WHEN SOMEONE IS A PERSONA FAN THE MOMENT I SEE IT. A very good platformer, honestly, I was left wanting to play more. The inverted gravity mechanic seemed very well executed, and the soundtrack is personally one of the best I've heard in the whole jam. I don't know if the character was made to resemble Madeline on purpose, but I found it curious.

For some feedback, I think a bit more visual feedback was needed for when the timer is about to run out, since with the timer positioned so high up, it can be hard to see it at the same time as you're platforming.

Whoops I dropped mine but I think you already played it, thanks again! Appreciate you taking the time to play so many games.

/jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4714820 heres my game! Its a silly little game where you play as a tanuki who hates gambling! (also dont be afraid to be critical, I would like genuine feedback)

It's a game with a lot of potential to be very addictive, personally, this game mixes two things I really like: gambling and hamsters, so I enjoyed it a lot. The soundtrack was the best part of the game so far. I feel it can be very addictive game, but it needs polishing in certain aspects.

For some feedback, I feel it needs more upgrades that help improve the player's experience controlling the hamster. Also, because of how the game is designed, I feel the timer loses a lot of relevance after a certain number of upgrades, since you always fall much further before the timer runs out.

I'll try your game too!

It's a very entertaining game. I the idea was well executed for what it wanted to convey. The visual aesthetic is pretty good, and the sound effects fulfill their purpose quite well. I really had to put in effort to beat Bob; the ending part seemed very well made and without a doubt well executed too.

For some feedback, I think the difficulty can end up being too much for certain people, and they might end up abandoning the game. Also, in the final battle, the fire attack is somewhat unpredictable (that has surely ended many people's runs). Overall, I found it a good experience without much to improve, since it's very good just as it is.

Here's my game, thank youuu :D

One of my favorite games of the jam. I don't know if it was done on purpose, but the gameplay captures the essence of Sonic games very well in some parts. The visual aspect is extremely charming, and the sound effects were very cute and funny. The jump and spinning mechanics complement each other VERY WELL and feel great once you understand how they work

For some feedback, I think the area that could improve the most is the level design; there are parts that are very well made and others that can end up being tedious depending on the person

Thank you! And ofcourse I am going to play and rate your game too :)

It's a really good beyblade game, the main dash mechanic is quite satisfying and fun to play. The visual feedback to the player on each impact is very well achieved with the camera shake, explosions, and sound effects. The soundtrack seemed to fulfill its purpose, and the upgrades are well implemented to enhance the feel of the game.

For some feedback, I would recommend adding a bit more enemy variety, since it becomes somewhat repetitive over time. Also, adding beyblades with special effects would be a great addition so the game doesn't become repetitive too quick

thanks! Im going to play your game anyways :p

The gameplay and core mechanic are this game's strong point, I would've liked to see more of it since it was genuinely really fun and addictive to play.

For some feedback, it would gain a lot from flashier visual effects since they'd complement the gameplay pretty well.
