Lovely game! An interesting view of the cynical world of fruitnews. I liked all the ads and reporters' personalities, it was cool to find efficient approaches to handling each story based on the limited information you have and your intuitions regarding different stakeholders' preferences.

I loved the concept, and the art style was really freaking cool. The commercials were honestly one of my favorite parts. The gameplay got a little repetitive after a while, but overall I still had a really fun time playing. Great job!

I really liked the concept! The printer was a bit too loud imo, but as that is my biggest gripe I think this was a nice game overall!

really like the core mechanic of this game! the concept was fun and i like the characters a lot. i think the gameplay was a little repetitive because i didn't know what i was building up to in the end, but it makes sense w the game jam format. hope u continue to develop this!!

A really unique and interesting take on the theme, very enjoyable!

I like the theme (similar to mine, actually), and the puns made me chuckle, but I never really figured out the mechanics. There's a lot of fluffy text repeating what's also been said or is already on-screen, so my eyes glazed over quickly. Nothing much seemed to happen in terms of story development, so I was just going through the motions of spinning wheels and clicking through. If there's any player choice, I missed it.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that the connections are hard to get, admittedly the whole core progression really fell flat in the end design wise :(

works much better in your version.

Hey, same "spin" on the theme that I went with! Albeit with more in-depth and fleshed out mechanics. I liked it.

GET YOUR ORANGED ARMS TODAY! BOOOM

Good use of the theme, some nice visuals and funny voice acting. I think for a jam, the game's a bit too long. I would be tempted to make each effect have like 5x the current strength so it's possible to lose in 3-4 days. After the second day, I ended up just doing a minimum spin on each feature. There's also quite a lot of text, I would've liked a less verbose introduction.

Metagame cogs 3/125.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. You are probably right about the length of text, not yet sure how to fix it!

I like the hand drawn characters and the absurdist layering of political themes in a produce character universe. I struggled with understanding how my interactions corresponded with the gameplay for a while. Maybe as a future improvement it could be helpful to hold the players hand a little more so that it's clear on what order they should be doing things, and what's optional vs. extra. I seemed to always lose money from every broadcast :p

Thanks for the feedback. yeah. unfortunately the core interactions are underdeveloped in both how they are explained, and balanced….
