Just a little nit-pick: I found the default grid flooring confusing, I was thinking each square was an actual grid space to place things in and was wondering why everything was snapping weird. I liked it more after I switched floors, lol.
Neat little game! Have a wonderful day and good luck in the Jam!
that’s actually totally valid! I did the floor designs last as I was rushing into the deadline and didn’t even think about how it lined up like that as I didn’t do any gameplay testing after I added them!
I like the direction, and much like the lower comments, feel like it could use some extra features (Time scaling, various upgrades, etc) to make for a more satisfying game loop. For the time you had and the effort it takes though, this is lovely, and I'm especially impressed that you made NPC code, since that is magic to me atm. Overall, neat premise and very cute execution!
Sidenote, I seem to have trouble gaining money overtime? Might mean I need to let it run longer tho.
Thank you for all the feedback! The NPC code took up quite a large amount of my time trying to learn and figure it out, with some time I am sure you could also figure it out :) On your side note, it ended up being that the only decent money maker was the bars and roulette wheel, if you had a 50-50 table it would just bleed cash! If I had more time to test I probably would have been able to resolve that before the deadline.
Needs a game speed option. It's a nice casino simulator game though. Not really my style, but it was well made for what it is :)
Yes game speed would have been a good idea! I have done that with previous games so idk why I didnt think of it. I am glad to hear you thought it was well made though!
This has good potential, thought the visuals were well done too. Just needs the overall gameplay tightening up.
Thank you! I barely made this game across the line so I didnt really have the chance to tighten up everything
I’m going to have the game in the background all day!!! Great idea, i wish there was an upgrado to increse the size of the casino tho =(
Im glad you were enjoying it!!! On the menu you could change the size up to 16x16, I was unable to get around to making it an obvious upgrade in game though! I would have liked to make it bigger but the pathfinding system was super poorly optimised
People in my casino only seem to lose money! I don't hate it though!
Yea I didnt quite get the balance down right! I did go with super low odds for them to make sure people playing the jam wouldnt get stuck with massive debt!
My visitors were indeed spinning and winning :D Its a nice small tycoon about casino. I like it. Nice game!
thank you! glad you enjoyed!
game mechanics are intuitive and the freedom is overwhelming. Super interesting!
I think it has a lot of potential!!
I would have liked more space and also different items:>
Thank you so much! I had a lot of lag issues for anything bigger then a 16x16 grid which is why I stopped there. I am keen to push an update post jam to expand the size and add extra items.
didn't expect to theme turn out like that, there's lots of potential!
Thank you!
Great game and a very unique idea!!
Thank you!
Cool game! I don't see many building/management games in jams, so well done for tackling it. I know you said you didn't have so much time, but with what time you had you made a fun game!
Thank you so much, I am glad you enjoyed! I like to try something different each jam I do to expand my skills.
the concept is well executed and easy to pick up. first casino manager game i've seen in this jam, props for originality.
Thank you!
