Overall a very cute game, loved the art style! Kinda wish there was more player input, like stopping the reels one by one, or choosing upgrades or something. Rolling and rerolling feels like there's not much room for strategy.

Still, had a nice time with it and can see it becoming something more robust given time!

Fun execution and very fun pixel art! I do find the game is pretty difficult though, reminds me of NES games with their secrets and stuff. Overall neat premise, but I did find myself stuck one too many times to beat it. (Though I did appreciate that not everything reset when you die)

Overall I feel that the difficulty could've been tuned down a bit, maybe make the headphones recharge rather than be a pickup with a counter? There are a lot of projectiles to deal with and all. I also had trouble moving down platforms after having jumped on them (ex: ladders) and some of the colour choices had me confused what was and wasn't a solid object, or they sometimes blended into the background.

Overall solid stuff, and the fidget spinner is a neat idea.

I like the direction, and much like the lower comments, feel like it could use some extra features (Time scaling,  various upgrades, etc) to make for a more satisfying game loop. For the time you had and the effort it takes though, this is lovely, and I'm especially impressed that you made NPC code, since that is magic to me atm. Overall, neat premise and very cute execution!

Sidenote, I seem to have trouble gaining money overtime? Might mean I need to let it run longer tho.

Gotcha! I'll keep that in mind for future jams and such!

Love when games like Zelda highlight their important text, so having an option to highlight the parts of the text which relate to the solution is a great idea, and color coding them too is a neat touch.

We'll keep it in mind, thanks for answering! This is definitely one of those things that's harder to tell as a dev who worked on it, so getting feedback is super appreciated!

Thanks so much, and thanks for the feedback! Glad it wasn't too punishing, though is there anything you'd suggest changing about the spindex entries for better clarity? Or was the spindex tutorial unclear?

Wild, it was never meant to be played with anything but mouse (and the escape button for good measure), so we didn't even try any other keys. I'm certain there's plenty of bugs, but really glad you like the idea!

Our SFX person really chose some bangers, I couldn't help giggling even while implementing it XD
