I think there might have been some issues with the mouse not being locked, as I found I couldn't turn the camera fully round, and it got constrained to an odd angle. I also ended up getting soft-locked on level geometry in a few spots, past the initial tutorial section.
I'm a sucker for platformers, and this certainly is a rage game of a platformer - which given the level design seems intentional. I'm not a huge fan of those kinds of games, but for what it's trying to do, it succeeds.
Visually it's simple enough - but I feel like this could really benefit from some polish to smooth a few of those rough edges down.
Given it was made in half a day though - not bad at all. It could probably do well with the right polish and refinement to the core game loop.
thanks for feed back! noted !
i guess will push new version of the game tomorrow)
Fair warning, the files are locked down until the jam ends. But you could definitely make this into a rage-game for streamers to play, with the right adjustments and tweaks. The Sisyphean nature of it really does hit that mark.
ohhh you right, thx for reminder heh
Not sure if I'm a big fan of typical streamer-rage level design, where you fall and must start (almost) from the beginning. I feel like the controls are not as responsive (especially in the air and on the jump pads) to excuse this type of level design.
Also, I guess that player has less control when Zzzz particles are on screen? I absolutely didn't get and forgot about that mechanic, so it could be that it's just skill issue on my part D:
Overall, for something made in half a day - amazing stuff! And as others said - it has some potential for more levels, more hazards etc etc :D
zz particles its only visual, you are in control 95% of the time) Thank you for feedback, noted!
I really like the mechanic, and I think it has a lot of potential! :D
great! im planing to work more on this game! <3
as usual I am really terrible at this type of game. tried for 20+ mins, got on a very high square platform, don't know if it is the goal, but didn't stop and fell to the ground!!! 😭 but it's a very solid complete game and the physics feels quite realistic.
hey, thank you a lot <3
One of the greatest rage games I've played in quite a minute. I will say I did manage to get stuck while looking for secrets, but I think that's largely on me lol
Thanks man! will play your game in 20-30 min!
I really enjoyed this game! The platforming felt challenging, yet fair, and I felt like it was more a test of skill than anything else. Very well-made submission!
Thank you aa lot! it means a lot for me! <3
For me, this is the best hamster game in the whole jam. The physics make controlling the character feel really fun, the platforming is super well done and pretty entertaining. No doubt I'd love to play a more complete version of this.
There's not much feedback to give honestly, the controls feel good, the physics make it fun, and I didn't run into any bugs or collision issues. Really well done.
Thanks man! really cool that we have simillar high rating XDD thanks a lot for feedback <3 you look like cool guy, will follow you :3(already)
Thank you very much! If one day you develop a extended version, please dm me, i will be really happy to play this again. I follow you too <3
It was a good game! The hamster was so adorable while controlling the ball :3
Thx a lot for playing! <3
Very fun game! I like the visuals though simple. I like the rolling mechanic especially; you have to get used to it first, but once you are you can go zooming around :D

OMG! 3:03 wow, crazy time! at home i will try to beat your! Do you think this game worth full release?
I think with a little polish and some audio it could be quite the nice game yes :D
much love, thx <3
Very cute, pretty decent level design. These fall-down-ragey type of games are unfortunately not quite my cup of tea, so when I fell from the clouds, I rage-quit. Controls are tricky, but I think that's the point of the game. Visuals are quite nice, only the hamster itself feels a little underpolished.
So you were almost at the end. thx for level design and visual compliment)
Great game! Similar to mine, but you a lot more content, impressive for one week of work!
Thx, i actually had only 2.5 days and crunched a lot at the end)
Even more impressive :O Good luck!
Pretty cool!!
Thank you <3
I always enjoy a good platformer.
This idea is solid. Collectables are well hidden, and the paths are well designed.
Overall, a great submission. (I loved the small sleeping hamster. Very cute <3)
I like the idea of this - I can definitely see where you were going with it. The gameplay is fairly solid if not simple (not a bad thing). A momentum-based platformer (especially a 3D one) can be rage-educing in all the ways a game should if it wants to. I did experience issues with the camera - whenever I would hit escape to tab out for a moment I would come back with my mouse on the screen and unable to rotate the camera more than the width of my screen. This is likely due to the fact that you set the mouse as unlocked when opening the escape menu, but never relock the mouse when it closes (I've done this before in my early days of making 3D games in Godot!).
Overall a
sillyserious game with plenty going for it! I'm also a fan of the fact you made a vast majority of your assets yourself, that's very commendable! I do think it would've been good to give yourself more time in the week to complete the game to add polish and extra SFX, but that's neither here nor there.Hey, what do you think - is there potential for full released game?
Loved this game! Hope you don't mind that I didn't do the objectives lol I just enjoyed rolling around as a hamster. XD I rated 22/25. Great work!!
What a cute idea! I love the rolling and it feels good to figure out what to do next. Thanks for having me play!
A Super Monkey Ball inspired game with a more open approach was a really creative idea. I got stuck on a few walls a couple of times, but other than that, the game is really fun. Congratulations!
Charming lo-fi graphical style. The movement was tricky but fair. It's pretty frustrating to have to start all the way back over after falling from a long way into the level, but I suppose in some sense that's part of the appeal for games like this (and it's not too punishing in this case because it's a fairly short experience altogether). And I liked the extra bonus of having something to collect along the way.
Nicely done!
Great feedback! thank you! will rate your game soon!
A really nice mix of platforming and hamster. 10/10
Thank you a lot for playing and rating<3
Hope you like my game as well!!
hm, so idea is really cool, but needs a bit of work. im sure that you should continue working on this game! rated your game high) :3
Pretty good overall! I was getting a little annoyed when I couldn't really move when bouncing on the trampoline... but thats ok I still had a ton of fun! We also did hamsters for the game jam!
Thanks for playing!
Also rated you game! i love your tutorial ) it was fun to progress your game, need a bit of time to understand but when its clicks its easy to play0
