Incredible game, felt very cohesive and you got a lot out of the main mechanic. Well done!
Only minor gripes I have are that I would have liked some kind of cool-down indicator for gravity switching (something analogous to a bar, but ideally more integrated into the art style), and a way to zoom out to see the entire level (the telescope-like ability is a step in the right direction, but would often still leave a lot obscured).
Otherwise this was awesome. The puzzles were a lot of fun, the writing was
funnyvery serious, the visuals are really nice, and the music is great.Well, putting a full screen option was needed but having to press esc to quit the settings makes the fullscreen go away. You should probably enable the site's full screen button that is in the bottom right corner of the screen in other games. I often got stuck, in some levels timing the falling of the character was enough to get me out, but i could'nt find a solution at one level, i felt like i was limited on how fast i can turn the orientation to complete that level. The level where i got stuck was where there are singular spikes periodically on both sides and i had to fall. The idea was original, but i've seen at least 2 other entries already using a ball in similar fashion, but yours is the best of them, as you have story too, and the visals were nicely made, sounds too :)
What a delightful game! It reminded me of a Nitrome game in its sillyness (I mean seriousness). The main mechanic works well and is fun and I would like to point out the music, good job with it!
This was such a fun puzzle game, it reminded me of the games I'd play on Coolmathgames back in the day! You did a lot of things that make the main mechanic feel good; keeping the player suspended in the cell until the rotation is complete, the screen shake + THUD on impact, the enemies flipping direction. And the levels were designed very well, it felt like I had lots of different ways to solve the puzzles. I also adored the open-space levels where I could fly around the outside of the map, it really made me feel like a spaceman.
The gameplay was excellent ... spinning the whole level allows for different approaches. Am guessing a lot of work went into designing all the different levels. Good work for creating such a polished game in time for the jam submission!
Super fun gimmick, cool game!
Cool game, I enjoyed it a lot
Great! I really love being able to rotate the entire map, and the characters are so cute—I really like them :D The stage maps are well-designed, too, and the gimmicks are fun!
Cool dialoges and fun gameplay. I had fun stepping on robots!
This was a great submission! I enjoyed the very serious exposition at the beginning. Definitely one of the better "spin the level" games I have seen in this jam. I was originally thinking it would be nice if the game paused while I used the zoom feature, but upon further reflection, that could potentially be exploited and make the game too easy. Great job!
Great concept and execution, you've done a great job on the level design!
A great idea with great execution. loved the art, the music, and just how it feels. this could use a lot more juice but great for 7 days.
A great idea with a solid execution! The visuals, music and story are stunning and all complement each other really nicely, the level progression feels well balanced, and it's fun throughout! Nice work!
Really cool, made really want to finish the game! Really liked the level design and how it makes you try and fail to find the correct or fastest path.
One small thing, on the web version if you are on fullscreen you cannot close the settings since esc gets you out of the fullscreen so a small button to close would be appreciated. Really liked playing it!
Wow! This is really fun to play! One of the games that makes me want to finish it. And the ending where the Earth spins is cute, impactful, and really incredibly touching! (although it spins in the wrong axis, but maybe that's how the Earth in this universe works, I guess.) Thanks for making this game!
it would have taken me at least 3 days to make it rotate the right way, so I stuck with that x)
Fun! The style is super clean and the enemies also getting effected by the change in gravity is a cool spin. Easy to control and not buggy, congrats!
Really cool and creative puzzles! I also really enjoyed cheesing some puzzles by spamming gravity shifts!
Couldn't close the settings menu when opened. Took a minute to figure out how to 'control gravity'. The theme is really present here! I had a fun time playing this and enjoyed it overall.
