I loved the game, especially the graphics and music! The only thing I would say could be improved is the "cast line bar" maybe it could be clearer with distances or something.
I enjoyed the game, maybe the scaling is quite fast. I think the characters walking speed could be increased, it can feel a little slow. I enjoyed the fishing tho, good work.
i like the color and theme you use in this game! I pretty enjoy that.
Really creative and works really well! Also looks really polished for a game jam!
Beautiful work. The graphics were chill and so was the gameplay
I really enjoyed it! Clever idea and very original, congratz, great job!
Pretty good, Unique mechanic and I haven't seen any fishing game with that kind of reaction test before. Unfortunately it is a bit slow and the resetting to day 1 almost made me rage quit. I liked the variety of fish. Definitely having a return to last day or something like that would be good.
That was a really fun game! It felt very relaxing and refreshing and the fishing minigame was very well done, it felt unique and I liked how some fish had different patterns like reversing the direction of the spin. The pixel art is also great, nice work!
I enjoyed it and because its a solid game I can say these things about it! I like it and I just have a few thoughts.
For me personally I found this game to be overly simple, it starts off slow and I didn't really feel much progression, the minigame didnt change up much for example
I would recommend to think about what type of game you want this to be and pursue that, if you want it to be cozy (like many commenters describe) I would have appreciated more silly little things that are fun for their own sake, the fishing minigame alone is not enough to carry a whole game.
I really appreciated the art style and the overall polish but I personally did not feel engaged with the mechanics.
Thank you for making this and letting me play it!
Super cozy game! Fun way to approach fishing! Maybe add some more spinning mechanics like cooking? Still super fun!
A really simple but effectively fun game! I played it for a good while since it was so relaxing and cozy. Really well made game!
Really fun! I love the spinning mechanic to catch the fish. I feel like there could have been more spinning though. Like maybe a minigame for cooking? Solid game!
Simple concept executed really well! Awesome pixel art and a lovely breezy island tune. I was try ing to spin the mouse cursor to reel in fish at first but I figured it out quickly enough. I like choosing upgrades every day, breaks up the endless fishing and gives a nice sense of progresion. Great work!
this is another one of my favorites so far. I love fishing mechanics
Wow! A fishing game is such a perfect fit for the spin to win theme. And I think you pulled it off well. I liked the pixel art a lot, especially the walking animations side profile when the player is carrying a fish. Great work!
i actually played this for a few rounds - its so relaxing and really well executed. Great job!
A really nice entry to the jam! It's got a lot of content, it's cozy and the graphics are really good. The only feedback I have is that the quota ramp up really fast and it takes a while to get a good run going, but this can be a design choice if you want the game to be difficult. Good work!
I had a fun cozy time playing this. I like the idea of the different depths providing more advanced fish and a harder reel minigame. It would be cool to see this expand out into something more cos I think you have a cool idea here!
really fun game, just right amount of challenging + i love how u interpreted spin to win!
This is the cosiest game I've rated so far, this jam!!! The music was not what I was expecting, but I really love it - it makes playing the game feel really satisfying and relaxing. The minimum energy per-day is an excellent mechanic imo, because it adds a level of urgency/stress to the game, whereas similar games without it quickly feel repetitive.
The art is really cool, and the idea of collecting fish is cool. The upgrades vs minimum energy increase felt well-balanced, so that the game gradually got more difficult, but still felt rewarding. I find it very hard to think of anything this game could have done better. The only tiny thing, was that the white circle for the 'reel-in' part felt a bit bland - some sort of art when you were spinning could have made it feel even better.
But nonetheless a really fun game to rate!! You should be incredibly proud of it.
