As serious as it can get :O Great writing, polished gameplay, nice challenge. Amazing work!
I thought the UI was incredibly clean, but for some reason it started seriously lagging when it got to the actual gameplay. Wish there were more upgrades because this concept feels very fluid and fun, even if definitely very difficult. Very coherent style overall.
Haha, you caught me! Since art isn’t exactly my strongest suit, almost everything in the game is procedurally generated. That’s probably why your PC was sweating a bit during gameplay—it’s heavy on performance!
I’m so glad you loved the UI and the vibe, though. For the future, I’m thinking about adding more content, maybe even playing around with some new mechanic cards to spice things up. Thanks for playing and for the awesome feedback!
This is incredibly polished, very well done, pretty much no complaints
Slick visual presentation and fun gameplay! The sound design fits nicely. pressing hold to restart should restart the level instantly rather than go back to the start menu
Thanks for the great feedback! To be honest, this is my very first time participating in a game jam, so I’m not sure if the rules even allow making changes to the game after the submission deadline. Plus, work has been super busy lately.
But your suggestion makes total sense! Once the jam is over and things quiet down a bit, I’ll definitely look into adding that instant restart feature. Thanks for playing!
Really cool story and visuals! A little hard to get into, but I think you got a nice game idea here.
Thanks for the great feedback! You’re totally right—I’ve realized that balancing the difficulty curve wasn’t exactly my strong suit during development, haha.
I’m so glad you stuck with it and still liked the story, visuals, and the overall concept, though! Thank you so much for playing and for sharing your thoughts!
