I had a lot of fun with this game! It looks great, sounds great, the upgrades are awesome, well paced, everything was just wonderfully tailored. :)

Thanks for playing!

Really fun! It was nice to get those upgrades and the level progression keeps things interesting.

The SFX are generally really good, but the ones for the green rock explosions might be too loud? And in terms of the art, sometimes the asteroids get difficult to see because they become too dark on a dark background.

The gameplay itself is very enjoyable, and the gameplay loop feels great!

Thanks for playing, good feedback! Appreciate it

Probably the most enjoyable game I've played in this jam. Nice variety of upgrades, really cool game feel, and the feeling of power at the end is top notch. Unlocked all the upgrades and the game feels super rewarding.

Only complaints are a lack of music and seriousness, but stellar work nonetheless !

Developer

There is a little background music - might be quiet though.

Thanks for the kind words and for playing - hope you enjoyed it

Everything here feels really polished! I was amazed at how many upgrades that were implemented in a short amount of time. I will say the progression feels a bit slow though, it took several upgrades and retries for me to beat the first level which I think the quota could've been half or less of what it currently is to progress to the second level faster. I did love getting permanent upgrades after each retry though as a roguelike fan. This was fun and the visuals/SFX were really great! Great submission!

Developer(+1)

yea, was hard for me to fully test - I got it so I could complete the first level in a couple of tries, but I know the mechanics so obviously not a fair test.

Thanks for playing and the feedback

That upgrade tree just kept growing bigger! Great job, there is a lot of potential in this game going further!

One of the funniest I've played so far in this jam!

Really well done. Very well polish and with a very nice game loop. My start was a bit slow because I didnt know wich upgrades was better and I think I went to some of the bad ones, but after I got I lot of winchs online the game ramped up. Stil, the upgrade tree was amazing, I loved it. Late game get money was a breeze, in wich a bought so many upgrades at once. But still, was very fun to play till I got all the upgrades.

Very nice work!

Really cool game...loved the upgrade progression, it was just the right amount of grind. The visuals are great too, really polished.
I only wished that the rocks would launch in the direction I was moving in when I hit them with a slight randomness to the angle.
But overall it's an awesome submission.

Developer

Thanks for playing, I was debating how the rocks would be impacted I was torn between the player vector or having the spin influence, I went with the spin influence as a test, but still unsure about it. Thanks for the feedback!

Spin influence would be better for a game with side borders to bounce off of...like Ball x Pit.

Developer

yea, agree - we live we learn :D

Hey .  I don't know why no one told you, but game jam games aren't supposed to be fully polished complete games.  ... Anyways ... WOW.   Good stuff I played for so long.  The only thing I would say as notes is that the only spinning I don't want to be doing is with my mouse wheel to move up and down on the upgrades screen.   Some drift or larger steps would make that a lot nicer.  Great game! Super impressed

Developer

Haha sorry! The upgrades screen should support dragging around already! Thanks for playing and thanks for the great feedback!

Developer

Yea once I got a decent way of adding them it was (relatively) straight forward.
