Great game! I had a lot of fun playing it. The art is amazing and the sounds are great! The gameplay is the best part though. You really did a good job with this game!
One small thing: It would be good to still somehow see the health of the player when entering the level up screen, because I sometimes got the option to receive 20hp, but my old brain just couldn't remember how much I had left. Also I don't see my health in a number, but in a shape, so writing "gain +20 hp" doesn't tell me that much, because I don't know how much health I actually have (except when I get a maximum health increase).
But except for this small detail I had a lot of fun! Keep it up!
I had a soft-lock when I got the level up screen just as the main wheel stopped spinning, I clicked on one of the options of the level up screen. The game continued playing, with the screen telling me what I got from the wheel. When I closed that screen, the game stopped playing. I could click some of the buttons, such as the wheel spin, but I could not do anything to continue the game, as clicking the buttons did not do anything.

Hello! I've played a few runs of your game and I have some feedback! (Some of this may mirror what others have said, I just take notes as I play before I read other comments)
Sorry, I know that was a lot! Hopefully this comes off as constructive and not negative! I'm trying to help games improve. It's possible with this one some (or, even, most) of my criticisms boil down to a 'skill issue' where my build was just bad, but I'm trying to offer my honest feedback as a player.
Overall, I thought this one was really fun actually! (Despite how my wall of text might appear, lol) I might return to it after the Jam, especially if you continue development on it! This was my best run:
Have a wonderful day and good luck in the Jam!
Sorry to add on to this because I know I've already said a lot, but I went to do another run and the game just froze on me. Not sure if that's a known bug? It seemed like I may have gained a level exactly when the wheel stopped spinning and after I skipped my level reward nothing was moving anymore. Not sure if the wheel popup triggered but then cleared but the game was still paused maybe? I could still interact with the menus on the right so I went back to main menu and started a new run and everything was still stuck. (except the attack button was unlocked, however pressing it just made the main character lift their sword like they were going to attack and then never finish the animation).
I took a screenshot of it being frozen, but I'm not sure if that's helpful because it just looks like a normal screenshot:
Hope this is a rare bug and you can figure it out!
I DID read all that, but that's way too much for me to respond to, sorry. I knew about the pausing bug, and only ever got it once, while testing, I though it would never occur during this jam, since it's so rare, and I was right for a while, but apperantly it happened twice just today. I kinda didn't have a good way to fix it, and it's the only bug that persists even after loading a different scene.
As for the other things, I think mostly it's not a skill issue, dying to the greedy goblin, however ABSOLUTELY IS. I'm pretty sure you are the first person EVER to struggle on a goblin, at least everyone else I've heard from had asked me if I added them to make greed builds unnecessary, since they have terrible base stats with good defense, and drop a lot of shards. I added them for that exact reason, they're there to help the player, but I guess the defense should have been lowered, but I mostly ran damage builds in testing, so I didn't realise.
Thank you so much for taking the time to play, and give excessive feedback! Also, when I saw the followup comment, I almost threw my phone, haha.
Congrats for this really impressive game! The art is so pretty! Sounds effects might be a little "over the top", especially when turning the wheel ^^The wheel live or die is a super idea!
I loved the art style, so cut and consistent!.The spinning mechanic was also beautifully executed (fighting and death screen). Great job peepz, you've done an amazing job! My only advice is to maybe rethink the voice sound effects. I had to mute mine just in case my neighbors could hear them as well and be confused.
Haha. I'll keep that in mind for the full release. I DID think the amount of times the heroine spoke was a little excessive... Thank you for playing!
Stupid levels of fun. I'd really love to see more updates or a sequel to this game I really think it has potential and is definitely the most fun game I've played from the jam so far. Awesome work (:
A very well polished game. Amazing art with cute drawings and beautiful soundtrack.
I loved how even after you die you can spin to maybe get back alive. I do feel the wheel could also have a way too the player to stop it, and not be just random. This way the palyer could have a little bit more control and decision. But overall its a great game, well done!
Lots of effort went into this! Nice art, sounds, voice acting and music.
I found the gameplay a bit lacking, as the decisions didn't feel that meaningful. And I personally got a bit annoyed by having to click the attack button every single time.
Amazing that this was made in just one week!

Love it! Nothing else to say :) Gave me great arcade vibes, good job team!
Beautiful game, great idea and execution, only complaint/feedback is the music is too quiet. I wanted to hear the rock
If you click the sfx, music or speech icons on the right, you can adjust the volume of each. Sorry, if that wasn't clear from the UI, I've seen multiple people assume they just mute. Thank you for playing!
sorry, THATS on me then. Lol
No, the UI isn't obvious, that's on me!
I really liked the art style. Very cool game. Man I wish I could do that. Really cool game!
You will, soon enough. Keep making games!
I fell like my wheel was rigged I only got vampiric effect.
I managed to go quite far, although I'm not really sure if it's because I was good or because I was lucky, I did not feel that much in control of what was happening, I selected a lot of cool effects but none came out from the wheel.
Impressive visuals by the way!
Alright, we got 67 ratings, nobody rate no more. That's an order.
67 67 67 67 67 67 67
69 ratings
Okay, that's also good, now no more ratings, for real this time.
This was fun, is there anyway to remove stuff from your wheel? could see this being more. loved the art and the audio barks were nice. nice entry good job
Yes. You have a small chance to get the "Repurpose" consumable, which, when you get it, removes every single item, and gives you 50 exp for each, effectively allowing you to rebuild to a certain extent.
I really enjoyed playing your game ! It was really funny to try building something :D
Maybe the hp was a bit uneasy to read with the diamon shape icon and the camera zoom was a bit to much for me haha
Yeah, I should have gone with a more rounded, or squarical shape for the hp.
Funniliy enough, I have like a 50/50 mix of comments saying either they loved or hated the zoom. Maybe I should have added an option to disable it, haha. I didn't expect it to be so devisive.
Thank you for playing!
Wow, this game is a GEM! I haven't been thanked that often in a short time span in my entire life :D
The abilities, art and juice on every action was so good! Like the "WHOOOOOO" on every spin that made me really wnna go "WOoOoooOOOHH" together with that choir of glorious RNG :D
great work! :3
Thank you for playing! Yes, the "thank you"s get a little excessive.
Little fun fact, in one of the builds, the heroine would also react to adding something to the wheel, saying "Is this... what you like?", but it happened so often, that I was hearing her talk in my dreams, so I had to remove it.
I thank you for participating and creating :D
Yeah, it's crazy how often you hear these repetitions as a developer. Restarting over and over. Even though I have decided to put further development of the game on hold for at least a week, I still hear the music in my head at work. xD
As huge roguelike fan, I definitely spent the most time on this game throughout this jam so far. The mechanics are so simple but so fun! I got my cooldown down to -.30 sec so I was just slashing like crazy. I love being able to control what modifers/items get added to the wheel and the particular power up that resets the wheel too. I enjoyed every second of this game. Everything seems polished, visuals and music/SFX were great too. AWESOME SUBMISSION!
Wow, thank you. The attack cooldown being -0.3 is a visual bug, it's capped to 0.3, since that's how long the attack animation takes. Thank you so much for playing!
This was amazing! 5* all around
very well made! Fun idea and a beautiful artstyle
