Love the color palette choices, the shading and the color transitions. Very 90's style, reminds me a lot to my Commodore Amiga 500 childhood times. Love the macabre dark art too, I grew up playing Elvira RPG and stuff like that too back them, those were nightmare inducing games with very stunning visuals too. Good stuff man.
Good luck finding a team, is really hard these days, I have worked on some projects before and some jams, I do music myself. It is tough out there let me tell you, so I totally understand where you're coming from with that upfront clarification, I experienced nasty situations before as well, there is really awful people around, nor committed nor passionate, nor respectful, entitled, backstabbing straight up thefts or people who suddenly disappears one day leaving the project. Don't want to trash young people but my best suggestion is to find a team that ranges from 30+ age and above, serious, respectful, mature, educated and honest people that grew up through the golden age of videogaming culture that have passionate heart about what they do. The worst experiences I have faced the last years were always involving gen-z people, is always the same thing over and over with them, they have no work ethic, no values, does not respect intellectual property, they constantly lie and made up excuses, they have no drive, I ended up even leading multiple projects myself even though I wasn't the head developer but the project was crumbling and I had to take initiative and tell the gen-z dudes what to do, then half the people always left the project, scared, ghost you and disappear. Truly awful man, get in touch with grounded mature people instead, is the best advice I can give to you and best of luck because you deserve success with such talent.
