Wow!!! I don't usually play horror games, but I was really scared! I think that if the waiting time that does it for me, when the wheel is spinning but very slowly and we don't get our question right away. I got no playtesting problems! The text was displayed clearly and selecting an answer always worked. Only one little thing to point out: the dialogue says incorrect if you select Mansa Mutsa on the richest question, but maybe it implied something I didn't catch. Amazing game, congrats!

seriously freaky game, yet cool nontheless. somehow had me completely on edge as john was SERIOUSLY intimidating. awesome game! awesome visuals!
It was scary and entertaining! The constant lack of music created an incredible sense of tension. I liked his unfathomable creepiness—like how realistic his teeth looked and the way his eyes would sometimes go weird.
WOW. this literally had me bracing for a jumpscare that never came which is i think a sign you did something right. i love, love games that seem all cute and then turn out sinister and you slowly unpack what's really going on, and this nailed that feeling. this had my full attention as i played, was locked in. RIP mom?
He is too scary, maybe that's a good thing though, I LOVED THE IDEA OF THE GAME, and the art style too.
I feel like the game be more fun if the question to answer wasn't pretty complicated ( at least to me that is )
Although the game looks really good.. Not going to lie
And story Is pretty interesting.. Especially when is very dark.. And I did get all questions wrong.. And I don't know if there two ending.. Where you get good ending ( where you get most or all correct answers ).. Or bad endings ( where you get wrong most or all wrong answer ).. If not.. Be more interested if the game have That.. But besides that.. Good job for making this game jam!!!
( Also be nice if I can read the papers.. Instead just look at it because is hard to read because of text being too pixels :) )
I love John, he looks very handsome! I also found the dialogue interesting, but I was a bit disappointed the the wheel only functions as decoration. I replayed the game to get the other ending, but the order of the questions didn't change at all, and even worse it doesn't even matter if you choose the correct answer (at least this is what my testing says). The last choice does change the story, and said story is pretty good. I also really loved the visuals!
Overall, it's a very pretty, interesting and unique visual novel, but not much actual gameplay (which is fitting for a novel, I still liked it very much) :)

Holy! Such a unique and interesting game! I love how creepy John Bucket Teeth is! I really enjoyed his character! The sound effects were good too. And to top it all off, the theme wasn't forgotten either, and it is an actual core part of the narrative. Overall and amazing game with an interesting story!
In my opinion, what you've made here is perfect. You've really nailed the pacing, and managed to use the gameplay to enhance the story to its best. On top of that, I honestly think you've created a trully iconic character with John Bucket Teeth. He absolutely oozes personality. I really hope to see more of John Bucket (even though he's a freaking creepy dude). Stellar game!

I loved the game from start to finish! Completely polished, with incredibly beautiful art and sound effects that perfectly match the game's premise and the Jam! It made me feel like I was part of a game show, except the host was Chucky.
Really good game. I really enjoyed the style between the art, the sound effects, and the story itself. I really like eerie games/shows so it was genuinely a great experience! No critiques!!
Sadge. This game is really awesome and creepy / eerie in the right ways, the art is on point aswell. I'm very curious if there are more than 2 endings I can try for though.
I ususally don't really like horror/ creepy games but wow, this was really amazing. One of the best games I have seen aroung here! Very well done :)
I would have enjoyed it if some things were more interactive, e.g. when the player is asked what smell they dislike, that you can actually input something that get's integrated into the dialogue.
Out of curiousity: what genre would this fall under? It is not really horror, but somewhere close to it, right?
And I loved the little break of the 4th wall when the character (who I guess is John) thanked everybody for watching and included itch.io xD
A little bug I found: After answering the first question and spinnin wheel, the arrow from the wheel was in front of John's head (I assume that was John)
