Awesome work! Remarkable amount of gameplay content for a jam game, super great sense of player choice and progression!

From the credits, seemed like there was supposed to be music? May have been bugged for me, only heard the repetitive swinging sound, which would be my main gripe of the game. That is, if you guys up the visual and audio capability of your team, you will absolutely destroy any jam, I have no doubt.

Other than that, I can't really fault the game at all! Some people have said the swinging is a bit unintuitive to start -- I don't think that's such a bad thing! It gives the game a a Getting Over It kind of learning, a non-fake difficulty where the challenge is a real-life mechanical one, that you actually learn to get better at. It's not gonna be everyone's cup of tea, but I think it's a completely valid approach. Do I think the swinging mechanics could be polished up a touch more? Sure, but that would be more about elevating the feeling of doing it right, not taking away the learning challenge by making it trivial.

Anyway, enough rambling from me. Fantastic stuff, please update post-jam! This has such genuine potential as a game.

really fun mechanic, though once i got the hammer throw it sort of negated the point of the mouse spinning mechanic and i just spent the rest of the game throwing the hammer at stuff. i do wish there was a way to stop moving as well

Really solid game and fun mechanic and upgrade system. I found the swinging to be satisfying not sure if it's a skill issue but sometimes it felt hard to get the swing going if I stopped for a bit. Would also have loved to have heard some fun SFX for when I killed the enemies but understandable with jam constraints. Great job overall.

Very good game, i'm thankful for the tutorial and tips at the beginning. It was still a bit hard to initiate spins, and some projectile on certain floor colors were really hard to see, maybe the projectiles should have an outline or something. The game was lacking music which would've been great. Visuals could've been more polished, and at the medusa level if i wasn't near the center it was really hard to find cover.

Overall a good game, which with some more polishing has a lot of potential!

Nice axe swinging mechanic! Especially satisfying when you get the mobs in a bunch.  The different enemy types were also well designed, each with it's own distinct attacks. And an auto save mechanic, nice!

Well done to the team!

Very cool mechanic! very satisfying!

The feeling of the swing of the axe has a nice weight to it when rotating with my mouse.  I liked how if you lose the flow of the rotation you gotta get back in the groove. Excellent job on that mechanic! What a fun game, Superb work!

Neat interpretation of the theme!

I feel like the difficulty spike from level 1 to level 2 is huge, but understandable considering the game jam scope!

Its a really nice swing. I would love to see some audio and maybe some camera shake when you hit an enemy. Additionally it would be amazing if the player deals more damage, the faster he swings the axe :)

It's really fun! Good work!

i liked it the gameplay is nice no complaints in there, but i think you missed big opportunity to make it very satisfying to kill enemies due to lack of sound effects, other then that i think other aspects are pretty good, nice job!
