This is neat! I couldn't really figure out what was making the spin meter increase, I tried a few different things and no matter what it seemed to just increase randomly. I also couldn't really tell if there was any reason no to hold down the shoot button. I try to follow the rule of thumb that, if you tie an action to a button press, there should be a reason not to press the button, otherwise there's no reason not to make that action a constant effect and remove the button press entirely. The visuals were neat though, and I liked the crunched up crowd audio, felt very sci-fi. Great job!

Wow, this game had a really poshed feel to it for a game jam. Great job, I can see a lot of work went into making it feel good. Great job.
The aesthetic is cool, and the audio design is very cool. The uncontrollable spinning plus constant moving is a little too much and ventures more into frustration than fun. But it feels surprisingly polished overall.
Positives
- No found bugs
- Fun concept and good use of the spin
- A lot of content
- Fun little serious secret
Needs Work:
- The randomness of the spinning while shooting is frustrating. This isn't a necessary change, but adding a small homing to when the gun fires during the spinning would improve things. I only say this because I had a level 1 instance where it was 30 seconds and a lot of enemies for me to actually hit one enemy. The bullets literally thread needles where it was way more likely it would have hit an enemy, but it didn't
Overall, a very complete game. Shockingly in depth for a game jam.
Nice game, cool concept! I sucked at hitting the enemies, however this was a nice idea and take on the spin theme!
Cool Game. I enjoyed the concept of being in an arena being cheered on by a crowd.
The announcer gave me a good laugh announcing whats happening over the course of the stage.
In the beginning the Player felt weak, It was hard for me to hit enemies. Gaining powerups like the richochet or the homing shots made it feel better. At some point I stopped trying to hit enemies and spammed Left Click hoping for the best. I didnt like that the Powerups are for one stage only. I felt happy receiving a powerup and then it was gone, making me feel weak again.
I like the Stage Visuals, that the Stage changes over time and that each stage looks distinctly different. That the Stages morph while playing so routes get closed or opened was nice.
Could be more juice for me like Particles/Screenshake for firing, hitting enemies and stuff.
I like the visual style. Very Tron coded.
Thanks for your feedback! Hope you enjoyed playing 😁
I did originally have the homing and ricochet available in the store, but once you unlocked those you could just spam and obliterate everything in the map every time. I decided as to not make things too easy they would be replaced with multi shot and projectile sizes to help the players hit enemies. Combined with the slow down ability or EMP pulse might make things easier.
I'll consider making credits easier to earn so the player doesn't feel as weak in the later levels and I like the particles/screen shake idea you mentioned, not something I thought of!
Appreciate your honesty, hope you got trying the serious mode in the settings 😉
