It's hilarious, and the 2D art looks awesome! Idk how precise the spin detection really is since I went pretty crazy there and it still seemed to do fine, but that's ok : ) I'm curious about how you made it work, I want to make something similar for a game.

I also liked the choice of music, it adds to the fun!

Cool small game : D I'd like to play a full story with more gameplay in the future if you happen to continue working on it : )

Very sweet and creative entry! Distinct style, polished visuals, and smooth gameplay! Congrats on your collaboration.

Very beautiful 2D art. My hand was hurt from so many spinning games already and this game killed it completely :D

best game ever

the art and story were amazing and funny.

I kept spinning until everyone was impressed and cooked

10/10 (would definitely play again)

TAKE THAT EMMY- 🩰💫I'M THE D.U.M.B QUEEN!! 💫🩰🗣️🔥🔥 (shout out to the principal for believing in me 🥹)

Me, having a grafic tatblet: wweeeeeeeee!!
But the art is really cute and the slide-in-reactions was a lot of fun.

I love the art and the simple gameplay. I did kinda cheat since i have a touchscreen laptop. Besides developing carpal tunnel syndrome because of this, I had fun!

Very cute and beautiful game. I loved it. Simple gameplay but very well executed with a lot of funny moments and well made. Really well polish, with amazing art style and sounds. I loved the character reactions, haha! Great work indeed!

Another review from the “Serious Guild” team! The game is simple but still feels complete, with an opening cutscene, a short story, a tutorial, music, and more. The game is incredibly D.U.M.B. (😉) and incredibly good! Great submission! GG!

lmao this game was hilarious, and everything is incredibly polished! The start screen (THE LOGO BOUNCES WHEN I CLICK IT AHHH), the scene transitions, the mouse trail, the hilarious audience reactions, even the freaking itch page oozes with professionalism. It's simple, but game jams are short and you nailed what you were going for. (Also we LOVE seeing another ballerina game!)

Developer

+99999 points for noticing the menu bounce!!!!!!!!!!

Hilarious concept! Even though it is quite short, everything was packed in perfectly. Great job, keep up the amazing work!

What an experience! A truly wonderful jam entry! The idea is original, the execution is superb, the illustrations are incredible, and my goodness is it funny. The mid-competition interruptions, the meme references, and Spinerilla's dramatic rise during the acceleration... Absolute Cinema. A flawless entry from start to finish, congratulations to you both!

Awesome idea ! And the realization is really fun ! Good job ! Simple scope but excellent outcome !

Developer(+1)

Thx!!!:D

We had a couple of ideas once the theme was announced, and even though Spinerilla was a bit modest, we liked the balance between the jam theme, flexibility, and the chance to create a well-rounded experience! Glad to know you liked it :D

I love the art and humor

Thxx!!!!!:D

The faces on the side had me dead. Fun concept and a really simple cute story. Very polished for what it is. Was very do able with a trackpad as well

Developer

Thx for your time!! <3

Doing it in a trackpad is a total flex lol, ngl it was not considered in our testing, so I'm just glad to know it was enjoyable!:D

WOW! I would really not worry about the length or simplicity of the game, the sheer level of polish and cohesion of the whole game easily made it one of the most entertaining I've played in the entire jam. The humour had me genuinely bellowing with laughter, seriously too good !! Fantastic work you two, full marks from me.

Developer(+1)

THX!!!!

It is indeed easy to get baffled at how short the experience can get, especially after this very long week that we took -no pun intended- too serious! But yeah, in the end we always prioritized experience over length and it's very rewarding to see it acknowledged. <3

I made it through v1.0 but the dev breaker broke me. I'll be sending you the medical bill.
I loved the art, graphic design, and humor. The trail on the cursor was a smart thing to include. Fantastic execution overall, this game is lovely.

Developer

Thx for playing!!!:D

Also 1.0 is kinda the Director's cut and the original vision of the game mweheh, so very cool you could beat it, it was indeed VERY challenging. Dev-Breaker while theorically possible is more of "WHY NOT" game mode, as stated, not even myself could beat it, SO, i gotta trust it's possible. LOL

super cute and serious.  had me laughing out loud at the faces as I was spinning especially that last shocked one on the rival haha.  great work!  really polished and very creative well done!!

Developer

Thx for the comments! <3

We did deliberately saved that one reaction for the last. LOL

Very cute art! I liked the starting intro and how everything felt high quality for a game jam entry. As for the game, I felt like I was going to yank my wireless mouse off the table lol. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thx a lot:DD

we do have a perfectionist vein, as the creators it's easily to see the flaws and think of all the things we could had done better, so it's very refreshing and motivating to receive so much positive feedback:D
