Groovy soundtrack! I think the game could benefit from an in-game (in action?) tutorial level. I'm not sure why, but getting the hop past the crocodile was super challenging. Wish I could have done a better job, as the art style is quite enjoyable!

This game is pretty fun, but it's difficult and frustrating at times. The controls felt a little unintuitive to me (I kept pressing E when I was on the far right side for example, hoping to go to the middle one), and I was also stuck trying to figure out how to play for a few minutes (even after reading the tutorial). I think the game could benefit a lot from a clearer tutorial, maybe showing you what to do while you play at the start, and I also a think having having a health system or something similar would be really nice (what I mean is not having to restart if you make a single mistake, but this may just be a me thing); also another small thing about the controls, I messed up the timing and pressed Q, W, or E before shift instead of after it, and ended up dying a lot, making this more forgiving would be nice.
But overall, you did a great job! I enjoyed my time playing.
This is a really nice concept for a game with great music and visuals! It took me a while to get used to the controls and it could be made a bit easier, but I think this is still a great game! I love how you have to look out for crocodiles under lily pads with eyes, making the gameplay much more dynamic than just pressing the nearest button. Overall, this is a great game with a lot of potential!
The controls were a bit tricky, but it was fun! I really liked the pixel art. It’s great that there’s a structured story :)
Really cute art style and a fun mashup of different timing-based games. Definitely took a little while to understand the controls - had to re-read the How To Play a couple times. Once I spent a bit of time with this I got the hang of it and really enjoyed! I wonder if introducing the crocodiles after a bit of time would make it easier to ease players into the experience. Overall really nice entry!
Its a very cool game visually. Its also very fun to play
But understanding the controls was a bit difficult.
Cool visuals but I couldn't get past a few jumps before dying. Maybe I'm just not cut for the river
nice game, i enjoyed particurally the sound the the crocodile dos when eats you :)
Very well done visuals! Cute animations and nice music. Pretty hard to learn controls but when you do it the game is pretty fun to play. Good job!

This game is so pretty and interesting! I'm sad that I'm so bad at the controls (but that's totally on me). I really see this being released, it's very fun
Nice game, took some time until i figured out how to play. This game messes with my brain lol, i messed up so many times which button i was supposed to press when on a side lane and trying to jump forward. but a great game, with particularly nice visuals. I didn't really use the spinning wheel tho.
The rocks looked at first a bit like they were places i could land on, so you should put them into the background a bit more
I have a different keyboard layout, and y and z are swapped, which also took a long time for me to realize, that i was supposed to press z instead, don't know how you should tackle this, but this might be a problem for a chunk of the playerbase
Hah, if anyone is stuck on this game they should just RTFM: 3 buttons mapped to 3 lanes with the SHIFT modifier to escape crocodiles really is too simplistic to complain about. This was a simple yet quite fun and visually polished arcade-style game. Visual cues to jump over a leaf or skip a crocodile even makes what is to be done kind of intuitive even without the tutorial. QWE is horrible controls though but that's just my opinion. The theme was kind-of in the back row seat because sure there's this spinning roulette and the long jump mechanic but no one really needs it to score high. Aside from that there isn't really much to say, good job.
Thank you for taking the time to play and provide us with your feedback! Yeah, the spinning wheel was more important before the mosquito nerf. We over-fixed one problem and created another basically. The controls from what i gather are not the weird or complicated part, more like how the frog moves throughout the map. Instinctually if you are on the E lane and you have a lily pad in front of you, you'd want to hit W to go forward which is the wrong move in our game. We will redo basically the entire movement part and how the lily pads spawn. We also want to have a larger map to have enough space to add more content.
I hate that I'm suck at this game. The buttons are confusing and the mechanics I don't understand... But that's hopefully only on me. It does not make it less, as the visuals, the sounds, and the creativity here is really high! Great job for you! Poor play from me...
And it would be good, if an indicator would tell you at game over, why. Is it because of mosquitos got you? Or you jumped poorly? Sometimes I don't understand...
Nice creative hopping and spin mechanic. Took a fair bit of multitasking and muscle memory for me, but good fun! I liked the whole theme and visuals, that was nicely put together. Well done to the both of you to be able to put this together in such a short time!
Thank you so-so much for your kind words! The multitasking before we published it was a lot more intense! Day 5 I think we added the pause for when you spin the wheel. It was insane to coordinate the jumps + spinning so we thought it would be better this way. Then we nerfed the mosquito speed but we didn't have enough time to properly test it we nerfed them too much. Either way, we're really happy people enjoy it as is, because there is so much room for improvement!
The game was very hard personally, i got confused a lot with the buttons, it was a bit tiring. saw a small tutorial on the site and it still was a bit hard to not missclick the stuff.
I really liked the idea with the small prologue, it was really interesting. investors debt collectos very evilllllll
overall good job! that was very SERIOUS gaem
