By the final results I can say this is heavily, severely underrated

I wasn't sure where to go! I tried rewinding time on a train track to see if I missed a train or something, but I ended up dying? I'm guessing because I rewound time to before I was alive. But then the retry button on that screen did nothing except skip time some more and jumble up the green and red on the spinny clock, lol

Developer

Hi! Thanks for playing! The only way to die in this game so far is to reach the end of the 10 minutes, so you were likely fast-forwarding instead of rewinding. I want to implement some ui icons to make that more clear. also the retry button is a known bug, so you didn't do anything wrong.

Very interesting idea for movement and strategy, but the level is just too big for the start, i just didn't know where to go first and what the goal is. But overall solid :)

a fellow clock tower parkour game dev! lol. Anyway, yeah, I was hoping to flesh out the level a bit more than its current state, and tighten the level design. I do want the player to be flying around long distances, but i need to communicate that a bit better.

First off the idea of controlling time to open new paths and inherit momentum from moving objects is really cool but the execution could have been better. The world felt overly large and directionless, the time manipulation is pretty finicky and although I know I've been mind poisoned by air strafing the movement just doesn't feel right. Also PLEASE do not bind stuff to control, especially when shift is still free. I accidentally closed the tab twice and created a bookmark just by trying to slide.

lol, if i develop this further, i'll consider adding control rebinding. the level definitely does need more work, but there are decals that show up in the downloadable version that don't show in the online version for some reason, which do give a bit more direction. i will see if i can fix that in an update. Thanks for playing!

Cool Stuff! A double jump tutorial before the wall run tutorial wouldve been greatly appreciated. The world you built is quite a sight to behold!

Developer

Thanks for playing and i'm glad you like the level. i agree that it needs a double jump section in the tutorial.

Cool idea! Interaction between time and physics creates countless ways and paths to complete the game! My only issuues are some small annoying parts and little feeling of slipperyness :]

Developer(+1)

thanks for playing! i'm glad you found a bunch of different paths, that was what i had intended. I do want to tighten the controls a bit and fix some of the jank with time.

Pretty cool game! I love the creativity of the time mechanic and I love that you can also just skip time if u double click it which is interesting! At the start of the map, I was lowkey a bit lost since I didn't know where to go and just kinda wandered off. It also took me a while to realise there is a Reset button and the blue thingies are checkpoints. The visuals are although simple, quite good! The audio is awesome, I love the shifts between the time manipulation and regular gameplay, though I do wish there were more sound effects (footsteps, bouncepad, etc). I would say this is kinda serious xD. Great work guys! P.S. The Play Again button didn't work on my end.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! It was a design goal for new layers to just explore the world before they start to figure out the best route up the tower, but it ended up being a little empty. I do want to add some secrets and lore and more interesting locations around the base of the tower, as well as hidden on the tower itself, for players to explore and find.

Ahh I see! Understandable! That could definitely be a cool addition to reward the players!

Heyy, this is a super cool concept! Took a minute to realise there was double jump, but I had alot of fun checking this out! A really cool game!

oh yeah, i should have put that in the tutorial lol. Thanks for playing!
