Great game! I finished it! This is such an amazing idea, and I had a lot of fun playing. The art is super cute, and the music intensifying when the generators were failing was a nice touch. Props to everyone involved! An indicator to show what the robots were carrying would be nice.
Thanks for playing!
Yeah, we probably should've made some sort of ui element to always show what workers are holding, but we never got around to it.
We're glad you had alot of fun :)
Played it to completion! Definitely one of my favorite games I've played in the jam. It felt great to master the game loop and beat it. Great art and hilarious storytelling as well. Really well done.
Thanks for playing! We're glad you enjoyed it so much
Also, the story is actually sort of a continuation of the story from our previous game jam game "Cliffhanger"
This game kinda just picks up from where the story left off in the last game.
This was very fun and the game play loop was addictive, but it was so stressful I kept getting jumpscared by the propellers breaking and the first 2 mins felt like I was gonna fall out of the sky ;-; Art is very cute! This would be so cool as a bigger game with more buildings and such!
Thanks so much for playing!
One of our team members actually thought of maybe coming back to the project after rating time was over, so who knows, maybe the game will get more buildings in the future :)
This is amazing looking and sounding, fun to play for sure. I would've loved to have a better way to see what one of the workers is carrying, maybe just a tiny sprite next to them at least. Would've saved me some panic when those alarms were going off.
Thanks for playing!
And yeah, to be honest, it probably would've been nice to have some sort of display next to the workers so you don't have to hover over them, but it wasn't our absolute highest priority
It's so addictive i needed to play a second time, I enjoyed it very much
Thanks for playing!
We're glad you enjoyed it so much :)
Amazing game for a jam game, I had lots of fun managing the little guys around, and the game really fores you to be fast. I also love the artwork and sounds, very good job!!
Thanks for playing!
We're glad you enjoyed it
This was a cute little game, I liked the loop of assigning workers and progressing although it was pretty stressful initially.
We're glad you had fun with our little game loop! I think the little bit of stress at the beginning sort of added to the experience, but I'm not too sure if everyone felt that way 😅
Thanks for playing!
Very well made overall. It would have been nice to have hotkeys, but perhaps that would take away from some of the challenge.
Yeah, the hotkeys would've been nice but I guess we just never got around to it 😅
Thanks for playing!
Wow, the music gets REAL stressful when you’re in danger of falling. I enjoyed this game a lot. It throws a lot at you at the beginning, even with such a well-built tutorial. So the beginning of the game had me fixing emergencies very frequently. After a while I was able to get into a sort of flow. I never really found the need to build an extra platform, but I was able to reach the end of the game.
Great job with this one, I can tell a lot of effort and care was put into this game!
Thanks so much! We're really glad you enjoyed the game!
And yeah the platforms are kinda useless tbh, we just kinda added them cause we thought it would be cool lol
Nice audio and visuals, especially placing down a new machine or tree is very satisfying! The game also had quite the captivating story, and the end cutscene was a nice final touch. Overall really fun game with lots of gameplay :D
Thanks so much! We're glad you enjoyed it :)
This is absolutely bonkers for just one week... the tutorial goes on very long and is a lot to read but once you're in the game it seems like there's actually a lot to do and it's fun!
Thanks so much!
Sorry about the tutorial, it has been a common complaint it's a bit too long but we're glad you enjoyed the actual game itself!
It can get a bit hectic but I do like ressource management games so this is just up my alley
I love the visuals bow on the tutorial automaton is really cute and I also saw some pretty interesting clouds. The game truly tests your multitasking skills. Great job.
Thanks! The "interesting" cloud is a little joke between our dev team about one of the sprites from one of our older game jam games...
Thanks for playing :)
That was good! I haven't played a resource management game like this in ages and this was a warm welcome back into the genre!
Thanks for playing! Im glad it was a warm welcome :)
pretty addicting gameplay loop! my one critique would be that the tutorial could be a little more concise, but as for the base game itself it was the most invested ive been in a submission so far! i honestly lost track of time a little so awesome work, would love to see this expanded.
Thanks so much for the amazing words! Sorry about the tutorial being a bit long, that has been a common complaint.
Anyway thanks for playing!
Engaging game.
Good concept, good mechanic, tutorial was bit boring but enjoyed once started playing after that.
Yeah, sorry the tutorial dragged a bit... That seems to be a general thought.
Thanks for the feedback though!
Fun game! I like that you had a story at the start :)
As for feedback, i kept losing my workers so a contrasting colors would be nice. Would also love to see list of objectives so I know what's next
Sorry about that!
Yeah in hindsight probably wasn't the best idea having the workers be a similar colour to everything else...
There was a little objectives panel in the top right of the screen, but idk if many people really saw it (should've maybe made it more clear in the tutorial)
Thanks for playing anyway!
really good game, has some great bones. it was kind of a slog getting through the tutorial but once you're actually playing it was a real treat. i ended up losing because i just couldn't keep the generator powered. 15s on a log is not a lot of time!
yeah, to be fair we probably should of tried to make it more clear that you should try and get charcoal as soon as possible! There was an objectives thing in the top right of the screen but I don't know if many people saw it 😅
(im one of the devs who worked on the game but i forgot to log back into our group account lol)
